Amazing iconic location, beautiful grounds, delicious breakfast and the hosts were very friendly.
We were sorry our French was not better 🥲 as the hosts did not speak English.

The location and kindness of the host
The bed was so noisy every time you moved it wake up your partner. Breakfast was basic, fresh charcuterie or cheese would be nice regarding price!

Thé house was like a true aristocratic Chalet; beautifully furnished. The room were huge as was the bathroom. The host exceptionally welcoming!
Needed reading lamps by bed.

Wonderful chateau set in beautiful grounds, garden was stunning and in a very special secluded area, very quiet surrounded by trees, a lovely swimming pool in front of the chateau, the chateau is decorated in period furniture and antiques, the room was nicely decorated and very comfortable and quiet, breakfast is served in the grand dining room and was excellent with fresh bread and croissants, lovely hosts who gave us a tour of the gardens

Beautiful chateau with lovely gardens and antiquities
Clear views and we were spoilt as we were the only guests!
Only having 2 tiny sachets of shower gel is the only disappointment.

What a beautiful place to stay. The decor was interesting and suited the chateau well. The host was very friendly, the rooms were very big and the bathroom was too. The bed was a beautiful 4 post and was very comfortable. Would stay here again and recommend. Great base for visiting Fougeres which has a great castle and town surrounding it.

Our host, Erwann, was very kind, and the chateau and grounds are beautiful.

Host went out of his way to ensure we had breakfast provided despite having to leave before serving time. Could not be more helpful.

Old renovated Chateau fited out with good taste, according to rules of "old" epoque. Superb place on the hill with nice views and sourrounded by park. Nice and genty hosts. Breakfast in living room like 150 years ago. Petit dejeneur with home made jams.
check in and check out time could be longer

A fabulous property, full of amazing pictures
Nothing really except the owner forgot to show us where we could make coffee etc

A beautiful building in a beautiful location. The owner/host was great although communication was a little awkward as neither spoke the others language.
After a long tiring drive it would have been nice if there was food available but we had to drive back into nearest town to find something. Not what I wanted but needed to do. There was no kettle or tea/coffee in the room - another minus and “breakfast” was an underwhelming continental style with one pot of tea.
Do I think 175 Euros was justified for a comfy bed and a nice old building? Probably not but then again I was really looking for a place to rest and to break up a long journey so maybe I picked the wrong venue for my needs?

A must for ‘castle lovers’

The Chateaux is stunning. A warm welcome, beautiful spacious room, spotlessly clean. It was perfect, finished off with a lovely breakfast. Thank you.
Our only difficulty was the bathroom door got stuck and it took a while to get it open. May be worth a look at before new guests arrive.

Beautiful countryside views. Very comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Very historical
Drinking facilities basic on first floor. Not much effort put into stocking .
Breakfast fine nothing special.

The room definitely had the wow factor.
The breakfast was poor, a lacklustre coffee and Baby Belle cheese did not seem to be in keeping with the surroundings.
