Pillows were both hard (maybe have one soft pillow) Parking very tight (especially if one or two cars take up two spaces)

Great location, would stay again.

Spacious room with an armchair and table with two chairs. Nice to have somewhere to sit besides on the bed. Continental breakfast included. Location was great - walking distance from Caneland Shopping Centre and from town.

The armchair that was in the room needs to be replaced. It’s old and worn with framework exposed. A big hollow in the middle.

Didn’t receive the room we had paid for, no working spa as stated.

The property was comfortable in a great location.

We didn’t receive the room I had booked. We’d booked a double room with a spa, offering a separate room and living area, however we only received a single room and no working spa. Most of the power points didn’t work either, some even stopped working while we were there. Quite disappointing as I paid a little extra for the double room.

Outstanding! Will be recommending this delightful little inn to all my travelling mates

Where the property is positioned is brilliant, excellent coffee a short walk away, Canelands Shopping centre is only moments away as well- the pool is crystal clean and a delight to swim in, the staff are polite and accommodating, the manager James is amazing- he has gone above and beyond to ensure my stay is the very best it can be. He is warm and friendly, greeting me with a big smile no matter what time of the day it is…he is well suited to his role here and I wouldn’t hesitate to return next time I come through Mackay

The only thing I would say is where my room was the wifi wasn’t working the best- but after speaking to the manager they are looking at getting it sorted in the very near future

Enjoyable. Had lovely catch ups with some family and a friend. Weather was lovely except the morning I left 😄

Both the price and the location. It is an older place so not pristine but is reasonably well maintained and has always be clean when I have stayed. They have a selection of breakfast in office for you to help yourself, which is excellent. Free onsite parking and it’s only a 5 minute walk to the big ‘Cane lands’ shopping centre, along lovely riverside walkway at the back. (10 minutes walk along roads) The old part of town is also on the doorstep and really pretty for a walk around, or a good coffee at a cafe.

The pool was excellent very inviting and clean. And the beds are the best I have stayed in, absolutely enormous and so soft and comfortable.

Room had lil sugar ants which was annoying as you couldnt leave anything out and had to wipe the bench down after every meal or drink. And the shower pressure wasn't the best

I will not stay here again.

Text told us about late arrival and number to call for assistance.

1. Hotel asked for copies of my driver's licence after I booked and provided credit card information. They requested I send via unsecured email which did not give confidence hotel would potect private data including medical information contained on license, 2, Because I didn't provide the driver's licence, I didn't know if my reservaton would be cancelled until they send text the day of arrival. 3. When I arrived after hours and called the number indicated, I was told I would not be able to receive the continental breakfast since I did not arrive during office hours and was departing prior to office opening the next morning. This did not come up at all during earlier communication. And was contrary to information contained in the text received prior to arrival. 4. When I attempted to communicate post stay through booking.com about my displeasure the hotel did not reply.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, no cutlery, not even a spoon to make coffee. Not all the products in the bathroom were available. Sheets were like paper.
