Das Hundertwasser-Flair lohnt sich

Die Lage in dieser Sehenswürdigkeit war besonders. Großartige Architektur, aber auch Publikumsverkehr "nur" wegen des Hauses. Das Hotel war sehr gut. Das Frühstück hatte einige liebevoll selbstgemachte Kreationen zu bieten.

Es war Hochsommer und heiß. Durch die offene Lage das Hauses musste man tagsüber die Fenster geschlossen halten und die Windstille in den Innenhöfen brachte kaum Abkühlung in den unklimatisierten Zimmer. Aber das Hotel hat sich mit Ventilatoren dagegen gestemmt. Also kein Drama.

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage, schöne Zimmer, nur etwas dunkel, ansonsten alles perfekt. Sehr nettes Personal, Frühstück war prima, wir empfehlen dieses Hotel gerne weiter !!!

frühstück sehr gut, Einzelzimmer comfort im ersten Stock , bequem und witziges Design. Fensterblick ins Grüne, obwohl das Hotel mitten in der Stadt liegt.

Wir waren rundum begeistert!

Natürlich das aussergewöhnliche Design, die geräumigen Zimmer und das freundliche, hilfsbereite Personal haben überzeugt.

Der viel zu kleine Frühstücksraum. Völlig in Ordnung, wenn man nur zu zweit unterwegs ist, wir waren aber zu acht und hatten somit keine Chance auf ein gemeinsames Frühstück und mussten daher auswärts essen. Das war aber nicht dramatisch, weil die Lokalitäten jeweils im gleichen Gebäude sind.

Nice hotel but disappointing customer service

The Hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the old town of Magdeburg The Hotel is very unique in its design and had a very pleasant atmosphere

Although some staff were very helpful others were without concern for our comfort Booked a double room but was put into a triple room without being asked or informed After moving to a room with air conditioning (a double room) the air conditioner did not work. Informed the staff the first night, they said they would look into it. They were unable to repair the air conditioner the first night, they said they would repair the next day. I reminded the front desk in the morning the the AC needed repair. They assured me it would be done. Returned in the evening, it still did not work. Asked about it at the front desk, they first said the air conditioner was not repairable. NO apology, When I asked why they did not then change our room when the realized the AC did not work they asked me why I did not inform them of the problem in the morning. I explained we did indeed remind them in the morning....to which his reply was "well I did not know that". Still no apology or attempt to make it right. Worst customer service I had over 10 different hotels while in Germany.

The stay in the building and the location - and with the Sauna - on an early summer day was perfect.

- Location right in the centre - small but nice 24h Sauna area - the building itself and the possibilities to sit outside on the shared balconies even if your room doesn't have one - parking garage - 24h reception - friendly staff

- Breakfast and drinks (even Water) quite pricey - Garage also quite pricey - bathroom could have been tiny bit cleaner

Unique Hundertwasser experience!

I especially recommend staying in this hotel to all the architecture lovers - it's an unique opportunity to stay in a Hundertwasser-designed hotel, bath in a Hundertwasser bathroom etc. We loved how authentic it was! Other than that: it was easy for us to park outside of the hotel, on the street; beds are comfortable and rooms are clean! Nothing to complain about!

The furniture and the interior design that were added to the hotel - they don't really match the splendid architecture, but I guess it's incredibly hard to match Hundertwasser extravagant taste.

It was a great experience to live in a place designed by a visionary artist/architect, Hundertwasser. Iconic building, unlike any of the hotel we have been before. The tour guide is highly recommended! you will learn and appreciate even more about the concept and story behind this wonderful place.

The only thing I wish - mirror in the room could be places in some other place, it is hard to see full image of yourself.

The hotel is in a good location and the rooms are distinctive, clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful.

The hotel is ten minutes walk from the main station and within walking distance of the main sights of the town. The room, as with the hotel, had a distinctive design and was spacious, clean and comfortable and free from internal and external noise. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

There was no overhead light in the room, so it was a bit disorientating at first and making sure that I had packed everything.
