Property was really nice, but the rooms are really small and pricey, walking around the property was nice.
morning BF buffet spread very less compared with Taj and other heritage hotels in india.
city was very pleasant and quiet. even though many tourist are coming, people are not greedy very helpful.
nothing

All very good: the room, though it seemed a little small, the location, the courteous staff, the breakfast and the ambience. I particularly liked the location because of its rich history. I appreciated their respecting my request for a disabled friendly bathroom and a wheelchair for my wife. Assistance was always available for the wheelchair. On the whole it was a very good and enjoyable experience
The bed was a bit small for a couple, especially an elderly one like us. It could be because of the room being a bit small. But that can't be helped because it is an old heritage building. Still the width of the bed can perhaps be increased by 6 inches.
The drainage in the bathroom (#23) was faulty, which needs immediate attention. I told the staff, who did the room, about it.
The part of the city next to the Palace is very congested and choked with vehicles. It will be nice if it can be conveyed to the district administration that restrictions on entry of vehicles should be imposed on this older part of the city. This will make the movement of tourists safe and comfortable and will also help in keeping the area clean.

Food was Good
Room , it’s maintenance, items provided in the room, Rate charged for room which was hardly 12-12 , ceiling 8 feet , no words to convey the ugliness of ROOM AND PROPERTY

The string of the hotel is spectacular, as for the employees I have the absolute highest praise. Yash at the front seat went above and beyond to make my stay memorable and comfortable.

Location, historical value.
4.1
The overall ambience of the Palace setting.
Nothing in particular.

completely serene and calm. if you like a break from the hustle and bustle , it’s perfect
variety of food was not that high considering the quality of the hotel overall. that said, after 4 days of spicy food before my daughter loved the pasta 😎

The room and hotel ambience was the only thing that was nice.
There's a whole list of items:
1. The staff is un-responsive and impolite, you need to remind them about everything again and again about your requests.
2. The golf carts are never ready to transport you anywhere and we had to wait 10-15 mins for it to arrive. Then there was inconsistencies with where they would pick us up and drop us off. Every time, they would make us walk to a different location from where they dropped us off.
3. The hotel guards are even ruder and highly impolite.
4. The location being in the old city gave me more trouble. Half of the cab drivers were reluctant to go to the location and would drop us off far from the property.
5. I was recommended this hotel by my friends who visited it and they said they had a good experience. However, I had a totally different experience. Even though we were guests at the Hotel, we paid additional charges for everything. The receptionist also didn't suggest or say anything other wise. (Could have said you pay additional charges upfront, instead of waiting in queues or allowed us access to their own owned properties).

Location was good but not value for money, maintainance was going on, pool was not in working condition, lots of noice and dust due to maintanance, not value for money
Staff was not apologetic for the maintanance work, not at all value for money and not as per pictures at all, it was just part of udai palace that is the only good thing you can talk about, overpriced for the services we got
4.1
should have been given a room inside the courtyard
4.1
good location, huge property, lot of common areas and seating areas, restaurant food is delicious
Not value for money. Too expensive for the quality of service provided. bathrooms are not renovated with stains on floor, towels not soft, no bath robes provided. overall would be good if it costed at least 30% less than what it did

they didn’t disclose that there will be drilling going on on both sides

It's a beautiful building with an even better location. convenient golf carts at your disposal for the gates are quite far away from hotel.
nl Building was one big construction site with work until late and 7 days a week. The pictures showed a beautiful pool which was dug out with most of the 'magical' patio with it. important view points were blocked with construction materials. Marble cutting right under my window and I asked several times to change rooms, they didn't wanna comply unless I paid. A foreign couple also had issues with no pool and after they insisted for 1 day finally the solution came to offer a neighbouring pool - which in its turn wouldn't take orders for drinks for unknown reasons. upon booking there was no mention of no pool being available or construction happening, I wouldn't have booked the room otherwise, plenty of good hotels around.
The suite was very spacious but furniture was old and not always in a good way. TV was damaged and curtains had holes - these were only replaced after pointing it out. Mattress was old and especially the bathroom which was big had a tiny shower-in-bath and a tiny toilet with a warped plastic seat. according to the style if the room nice brass fixtures are expected but they were of old corroded chrome. A big walk in which was useless and something resembling a kitchenette which was also empty apart from an empty minifridge. It seems to run on memories of the good old days, they are not willing to comp voluntarily for the discomfort caused and all is about money. These rooms need upgrading, there must be monumental restrictions but it resembles your grandmas bedroom now - definitely not palacial.

Location is great
Palace rooms are a bit overpriced
