Breakfast was good
I could hear the conversation of my neighbours

We did not have breakfast. Only slept.
When I booked there was no cancellation fee but when I cancelled one room a week in advance I could not get my money back. I feel this is false advertising.

The receptionist was friendly
So much. It's really unacceptable that the room cost over R700! It was tiny, beg bugs...we both itched the entire night,, shower leaked all over bathroom floor, toilet roll holder kept falling out of wall, the panel heater was ineffective,no WiFi but we were told if we sit outside room 45 (we were in room 47) we could connect.. ridiculous that in this day and age not all rooms have WiFi!! The main light didn't work. Absolutely avoid the economic room at all costs. Such a disappointment as for the same amount of money I could have gone somewhere else that wasn't a rip off.

The late check-in time was convenient for us as travelling to relocate with a pet.
The heater didn’t work, there were no extra blankets, nowhere to put your suitcase, nowhere to hang your clothing to wear for the next day. It was very utilitarian. Maybe for truck drivers.

I enjoyed my chops and chips. Bed was comfortable, shower clean and hot.
Room was freezing cold and I couldn't have coffee in the morning as there was no electricity.

The beds and linen were comfortable. The lodge was pet friendly.
The fact that reception told us that our booking had been cancelled. No apology given when they rectified the mistake. The bathroom light, toilet and tap were faulty. Very disappointing braai and boma area.

We booked our family vacation at wagon wheel , when we arrived the reception informed us she moved us to better unit more suited for a family we originally booked the twin room deluxe unit witch we paid over 3000 rand for the two nights our kids had to basically sleep on the floor when we confronted reception they informed us that we requested to move witch is a total lie we then asked to be refunded as the deluxe unit was much more expensive and we should only have to pay for what we get this con
