Private, quiet and in a beautiful location. The cabin was very clean and contained everything we needed for our stay. Collected at the airport was a terrific service!
Could do with a couple of throw rugs and ensure enough wifi codes are available at the property.

The cottage was very comfortable for 2 couples with almost everything you could need for self catering and the view is amazing
Only small things that we noticed that could have made it a ten out of ten were the pillows were hard, there was no vegetable peeler and parking for unit 6 is not easy

The people in the next coming and going at all times of the night and their need to slam the doors of the car the were using for transport every time they left or returned.

David and the team went above and beyond to make our holiday very memorable. We were met at the airport, given a quick orientation on the way through town and then on to our accommodation, where our car was parked, waiting for us to start our adventures. Absolutely brilliant. Thankyou.
The location, for us, was excellent. A short 2 minute drive from town and a great spot for satelliting out to explore. Beautiful views and very peaceful. Like the upper speed limit of 50km/hr on Island too...adds to the stress less, relax and enjoy ....and explore!

Not host problem but telecommunications on Norfolk are appalling and expensive

The location was excellent - very close to the town of Burnt Pines and the airport was not far away. At the end of the road is a good little bakery/supermarket. Loved the view of green hills and the majestic pines. Perfect for two couples. Pick up from airport and rental car ready to go was great!

The whole place was absolutely amazing! The location was stunning, with views of tall pine forest and soaring birds. It's a quick drive up to the top of Mt Pitt, a brief stroll to the Botanic Gardens (where we saw a rare green parrot), far enough out of town to be non-touristy, but only a 5min drive down the hill to all amenities.
The cabin was well stocked with all essentials (even face washers, beach towels and the bath towels were huge) for our week stay. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils for self-catering, an excellent supply of crockery and tea towels and everything a normal kitchen would have.
The 2 bedrooms each had a modernised ensuite, which was so handy when travelling with 2 teenagers. There is a washing machine with a few sachets of detergent, which came in handy, and the wind dries the clothes quickly. No aircon, but you don't need it because it's a fairly breezy location so just open all the windows.
It really is a beautiful cabin in the old crater of an ancient volcano - would totally recommend!
If I had to be very picky, I would just recommend you take your own shower soap/body wash/shampoo, as the complimentary bottles would not have lasted a week, but we had taken our own anyway and had not expected more to be supplied.

Could not fault Whispering Pines, which exceeded our expectations! Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom accommodation was spacious, well equipped, clean and the outdoor patio overlooked beautiful scenery with a glimpse of the sea.
There was nothing to dislike - everything was to our liking.

A beautiful peaceful outlook over the National Park. Nice and handy to town. Having a bbq and a nice outside patio with table and chairs. Having two private en-suite bathrooms.
Lots of local information in their compendium. Good service when we had trouble with ranch-slider door lock. It was fixed very quickly.
Maybe a colander in kitchen and microwave safe bowls would have been good. One of the burners didn't work on stove-top but we managed quite well without it. It may well have been fixed by now after mentioning it on our comments form.

Location was perfect and the view sensational. The appointments throughout the cottage were well thought out and there were things found that we were not expecting. Loved the idea of an ensuite in each bedroom.
There should be fans in the bedrooms considering we were there during a warmer period. It did make things a little uncomfortable whilst trying to sleep. Would have given 10 stars if this was the case.
