Great location, with good price for Como area, but this comes at a hidden cost being the poor quality of the hotel.

Location was great. Close to everything but in a quiet, peaceful location with great views of the lake. Parking outside was super easy - we always found a space.

As per previous reviews, there really isn’t any sound proofing in the hotel. We were on the first floor and could hear everything in the rooms above, next door and when guests went to breakfast. The breakfast was poor quality. The hotel needs a huge renovation - the facilities and furniture all need updating with many things already nearly broken. The bathroom was very old and dirty. It was also tiny - you had to close the door to get into the bathroom and moving around was very difficult. The bed was very uncomfortable, dipped on one side and was more like a sofa bed than an actual bed. There are no facilities in the room such as tea/coffee.

One of the most beautiful places I have stayed

The view is mesmerizing. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom flawless The hosts are very attentive and helpful. I only regret we did not spend more days there

The neighbors were a bit loud (nothing to do with the place, but the walls are thin). If you don't have a car you should plan in advance bus schedules (it stops right in front of the building), since there are not many buses. Arriving by train to Dorio and then walking 25 minutes is also possible (we did that 3 times) but in summer that might not be for everyone. I think arriving by ferry and walking a bit is also possible, but again perhaps not many ferries in that small village. In any case, it deserves the effort!

Far better than expected!

Awesome place, way better than expected. Great breakfast with an extraordinary view on the lake, friendly host, check-in also outside the suggested times. Spacious room and big parking lot. Great value for money, can only recommend!

Hidden gem of Como lake

Fantastic view. The room was super clean. And breakfast was super nice. Easy to park. We loved this place and definitely come back.

A pleasant and enjoyable stay

The breakfast was great. Lots of choice including cheese as well as a variety of other choices. It was lovely to look at the lake from the breakfast room. We could also see the lake from our room. Nearby, within easy walking distance through the village, was a very good restaurant which also had a pleasant atmosphere and good food. Quiet and peaceful. Parking available just outside the B and B. Helpful and friendly owner. Baby swallows were being fed across from our window. We continued on our drive around the amazing Lake Como.

It was slightly difficult to find, but just keep going up the hill. Some kind locals advised us where to drive as we hadn't seen any signposts - not sure if there were any.

The hotel was just perfect. It was so clean and has a gorgeous view of the lake. The staff was so friendly and helpful. He even drove us to the train station as we miss the buss in the morning.

The location is perfect if you have car but if you don't you will be having problems getting to your destination and also carrying your suitcases to the hotel.

we did enjoy our stay thanks to the location, the owner kindness and will to please all the clients and the cleaness of

the location is ideal for relaxing, it has a great view of the lake. we had the balconi and was hard to go away from that view. close there is an oasis of peace and history the abbey of piona.

it is excellent if you plan to live there for long vacation, huge wardrobe. for few nights no place to lie a bag or small case.

property was super cute and clean with an outstanding view of the lake, we were welcomed warmly and with a lot of kindness, also our 4 month old huge puppy who was welcomed with love! breakfast was amazing and offered sweet and salty options! Andrea and his family are loving and caring and you can definitely tell that they care about the guests!
