Le séjour correspondait à nos attentes. logement simple mais agréable.

localisation sympa. bar / resto agréable avec table de billard. la restauration était bien.

Pensez à prendre la clim dans votre logement. Sans ça les nuits risquent d'être courtes ! Peut être ajouter un endroit plus accessible pour ranger les affaires

price for some nights in a dorm OK- not recommend for families

- location is good and close to some bars and restaurants - some staff are nice, the lady with glasses not very friendly

- not recommended for families !! family rooms are very bad - extremely dirty - dead animals in every corner - no room cleaning - dirty beds - walls and ground floor is damaged/dirty - aircon very loud and old - fan is very dirty

Disappointing

The room is big and spacious. It can accommodate a maximum of 6. The sea is a very very good view from the cottage. Some staff are friendly and nice.

The facilities are the number one cons here. The shower is leaking so is the faucet in the lavatory. The drainage is a little bit clogged. The toilet is quite smelly. No complimentary soap, coffee and water. They just provide you with a water heater and mugs. You have to look for your own water container and ask for a refill in the reception. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 guests and that's also for the entire 4-day stay. The faucet produces a weird sound at times. The room and the surroundings aren't even cleaned thoroughly. There also dark areas in the resort. Especially the one near the beach. The parking area is not well lit and needs tidying up. The road going out of the resort is too inclined making it challenging for 4-wheeled vehicles to pass through.

The hotel is on the beach, very big place

The stuff was very not nice , the food in the place was not good , the room was with ants , there is no hot water in the shower, the location is horrible, in the middle of nowhere, there is no restaurant or bars nearby

A lovely hostel sadly ruined

very rustic, surrounded by trees and animals. They had nice seating in the bar, a pool table and some hammocks.

We had a safety issue with someone who was staying in our room. The man in question was acting very strange, as if he had taken a heavy illegal substance. he was going through our belongings and had no respect for our privacy. He was also acting very odd, spaced out and scary. We raised our concerns to the girl behind the bar and she dismissed us and didn’t want to do anything about our issue. we’re two young girls travelling; we’re happy staying in dorms but not when our safety and privacy are at risk. we asked to change rooms/ him to be moved and we were met with an irritated shrug. they eventually moved us into another room which they wanted us to pay extra for. we felt undermined and overlooked. we swiftly moved hostels, to a place down the road with nicer food, lovely staff and a safer atmosphere.

I loved it

Such a peaceful place, it has a cute small beach with beautiful snorkeling, just on the side of a marine sanctuary, you can watch the sunset, and lay down on the hammocks... Food is delicious but not at a hostel price. The price-quality is very good for the hostel itself, the location is beautiful and quiet, but not so far away from the village. The staff is nice!

Motorbikes are ridiculously expensive compared with the other places on the island!

Overall it was a nice stay and good for the price we paid. The only thing was that it got really hot in the rooms.

The location was nice. It is right at the beach and close to everything. You can refill your waterbottle for free.

It only has fans so it gets really hot in the rooms. The power on the island went off almost every night so we had no light, no fans, …

Pleasant

Nice jungle vibe as the hostel is located down to the beach among a lot of bushes and trees.

it was impossible to swim at the beach because of the shallow water and reef. bathroom and toilet was dirty and flooded with water. I had to ask for toilet paper several times a day as it wasn’t done by the staff. The room was insane hot despite its many fans and the staff was acting a bit weird and confused.

I stayed for a month, so can't complain!

The place is beautiful, right by the beach and full of green, if you're into nature, this is the place for you! So many cute animals around as well, good location, good staff and the beds are quite comfy.

The bathroom could do with a little bit of fixing up.

Passable

There's a bar and you can play pool. Big garden full of poultry, cats. Good beers at the bar.

Dorm : NOT recommended. NO AC FOR 12, only 3-4 fans, no curtains, so NO intimacy whatsoever. Only 1 bathroom, 1 sink and 1 shower for all, AND NO MORE WATER at 9h30 AM... I got sick after eating the fish n chips for dinner :( The dorm is pretty noisy too, animals around and you can here the traffic on the road. .

The perfect base to explore Siquijor

We loved our stay so much we extended! The staff are absolutely lovely, the room was clean and the restaurant was really good (and very well priced!).

Our private room had a fans only - no air conditioning so it could be a bit sticky at night.

Superb

Love the bar and food area. Affordable compared to others. Location's good. Very accessible. Can rent a scooter for 350 a day. Nice beach area. Overall good value for money

Room and bathroom could be little bit more confortable. Beach area when low tide but it's the same for all hôtels.

Superb

Room is super spacious, same as the bathroom. They provide towels, soap... The place is super nice, right by the water. They have a dive center inside the property (niiiiice) and breakfast was really nice :) We really liked the place and would totally come back!

Well, maybe our fault because we haven't checked, but we thought we would have hot shower as we always had it in private rooms. San Juan can be a bit cold at night so cold showers after a scooter day is not my favourite 😅
