We love the quirkyness of the hotel and the pool.
The staff on the front desk and cleaning staff are polite and can't do enough to help.
The room is clean and comfortable
This is the third time we have visited and we would come back
The food at breakfast is exceptional as are the staff
We felt let down this time about our experience in the poolside restaurant. Food was poor, bland and expensive - we had a tomato pasta dish and the house burger. The staff there (one girl in particular) was rude and unhelpful. She seemed to practically throw our food on the table.
In the roof top restaurant we feel there could be more choice of food.

lack of clarity and priority at rooftop bar. dinner facilities limited, room service or poolside bar only options. disappointing
7.0
Smart and funky all at once; the pool is great, a proper swimming pool rather than a steamy puddle. The sense of its history is well evoked.
it was disappointing that we could not book into either of the hotels restaurants on our arrival evening. I tried emailing the hotel 2 days beforehand and didn’t even get a reply. We had no choice on arrival but to use the poolside 1929 restaurant, which has a limited menu, small bar, and service was slow to start with. The hotel should really keep some tables aside for guests in the Rooftop dining area and the Bistro rather than allow them all to be booked out by external visitors.
The king room was spacious and comfortable but decor was stark to the point of being clinical.
On Saturday morning we swam then went for late breakfast - it was chaotic. Service lacking, most choices gone with 40 mins of the set times to go, and a complete lack of fresh plates, cutlery etc. On Sunday we arrived at 9.20, half an hour earlier and it was much better- lesson- don’t swim fronts or have a lie in! Which sort of defeats the object of a weekend away at this place.

Pool, welcome, check-in staff
Don't order cocktails at the pool, the staff is extremely slow and the drinks suck. Probably have a beer.

pool, comfy bed, rooftop restaurant
loud music from the rooftop bar that you could hear in the rooms late at night, limited food menu at both restaurants, not enough staff at downstairs restaurant, had to wait for ages for service

The pools were fantastic and the Clarins Spa massage by Charlie was one of the best!

The pool was nice
It was a bit of a surprise to discover that there was no proper restaurant open for dinner on a Sunday night…you can have dinner at the pool bar which is not a real restaurant or eat in your room…. Which is not ideal. 530€ room that has nothing incredible to not be able to have dinner in the hotel is definitely over priced…

A high quality hotel, super comfortable, very stylish, beautifully clean. We had a wonderful room! And... because it was my birthday, the room had balloons and a birthday card, and a complimentary drink. The staff were all kind and helpful and very professional.
The pools are stunning - warm, very large and oh so glamorous.
