the creaking of the staircase

The location is beautiful and well maintained. The check-in was smooth and the property managers Rob and Carol ensured we’ve everything we may need handy and available by the time we arrived. They were very responsive and ensured we had a pleasant stay.
The barbecue could have been cleaned up bit more.

Very clean and great location

the location offered a very tranquil setting just what we were looking for

Excellent location in very pictures’ region, surrounding wineries and fruit farms. Very clean and comfortable, you can feel home from the minute you walk in. Helpful and supporting reception. Best short or long stay! Happy to come back with more friends!
We didn’t have time to enjoy fireplace and barbeque facilities

it was just a little out of town for us

Loved staying in the aussie bush

Right in the middle of the bush. What’s not to love. Loved listening to the wildlife. Was quiet and peaceful. Think I could hear a waterfall in the distance. Very serene
The only thing I didn’t like was not lighting the fireplace m. Will have to come back again in Winter.

Location, cabin were all good and would probably stay again
Was dim in the cabin at night, air-con seemed to only blow air....no cooling as when we arrived cabin was humid/warm and tried to cool cabin but no good. Opened all windows to allow the outside cooler air to ventilate the cabin. Fire extinguisher was last tested in 2018 on metal tag. Well overdue for testing.

It was good, but the dozen or so 'do this, do that' signs were off putting.
I've never stayed somewhere with so many laminated instruction signs lol
4.0
Self contained,
The wood fire (and wood and kindling)
Close to bush and to other outdoor activities,
It had everything you needed
Great clean pure rain water
Close to wineries nearby
Good bush scenery out of the windows
A quieter air conditioner,
We just chose a wet weekend and couldn't do anything on the Saturday (just bad luck)
It was a fairly long way from town (14km) there and back) if you wanted to go out for dinner in the evening or do something in town during the day
Too much signage about keeping the place clean (it seems that the owners must have had some bad experiences of people that did not do the responsible thing (but is irritating to people that do the right thing)

Beautiful location in the bush at Mt Canobolas.Amazing wildlife. Rustic cabin with wood stove and plenty of wood. Carol was exceptionally helpful. Would definitely stay again!

For us, the simplicity of accommodation and location was ideal. Wonderfully secluded in bushland yet only a short drive to town in Orange. Close to wineries and attractions. Log fire was a great feature. No wifi was also a great "feature"!
We learned the Tea House which had breakfast and lunch options had recently closed. We were self catering anyway but it would be worth updating this in the listing or letting guests know of other meal options.

if you have Wi-Fi it will be great.

Fabulous location within the bush only 10km or so from the centre of Orange. Loved the fire and the great supply of wood. Carpets and lounge furniture seemed to have been recently refurbished. The heater in the bathroom was a real bonus, as we were there during a cold snap. Owners very helpful.
I would have liked it if the kitchen were better equipped - a larger cooking pot would have been useful, and some plates and cups chipped.

Everything was great! Especially the loo. 😎
Nothing, everything was fantastic.

The wonderful setting, playing board games by the fire. Great layout and eco friendly features. Well maintained.
