The host we're so nice! We had a great time!

feels like home
nothing much, just maybe the carpets are old because it’s an old house, which I love because of the space

Their hospitality
Nothing so far
2.5
Their friendlyness and breakfast
The smell of carpet in their rooms. I would further recommend that the carpet be removed and be replaced by tiles or laminated floor. Even the bed in the first room be changed, it is too low.

Not self catering. Rooms are in house where people stay and not ensuite. You can hear people walking above you. Yard untidy. People not educated to host guests

The hosts were super friendly and warm. They showed me around. I was able to meet up other members of their family Andrew and Wendy and discovered we shared something in common. The bed was so comfortable and the location was quiet, picturesque and was close to a pub.
Nothing really.

I liked the quietness of the area and the place itself garden and trees and the staff was friendly
I didn't like the dogs and cat inside the house
3.5
The room had a beautiful view of lots of shrubbery and trees, it felt as if I was in a forest with all the lovely sounds. The bed was very comfortable and it has all the amenities you need for a short stay. Also only a 1 minute walk to Edge Day Hospital.
As the room is below a living room with old wooden floors the sound travels and you can hear the footsteps, the tv and when people are talking.

Did not have breakfast
Bookings.com did not send us a final payment reminder which I did expect them to, their service is not great.

I didn't have breakfast, but I had been offered
The place is superb.

This is definitely a guest house experience, so don't expect a private hotel room. With that in mind, the people were exceptionally friendly and worked extremely hard to be helpful, including providing board games for the kids and letting us stay past check-out due to the weather. They offered a full breakfast at a modest fee and it was wonderful and tasty.
We happened to come in the coldest part of the year, and the house was cold.
