We enjoyed our stay very much and will stay here again if we come this way.

Lovely room and garden. Very good traditional Irish breakfast in a nice sunroom and with a great view of the garden. The farm is far away from the traffic. It's retorative.

Value for money, delicious breakfast, welcoming host.

The owner Carmel was very welcoming. Premises very clean. Delicious breakfast in a pleasant environment. 5 minute drive from town for dinner.

Room slightly smaller than expected, and the shower recess suited us, but quite small if you are a big person.

Carmel was a great host went out of her way to assist when I needed medical help. A great place to stay. Highly recommen

Great value for money.

The guesthouse was set in a unique country setting. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was warm and quiet and very cosy. The breakfast every morning was exceptional. I very much enjoyed my three nights there and I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful.

Absolutely GORGEOUS breakfast, freshly baked scones, coffee, perfectly poached eggs on hot toast. Gorgeous. So clean and tidy. Beautifully comfortable bed, blackout curtains. There was a full blown thunderstorm and I slept through it, midnight to 9am, I can not remember the last time I got so much good quality sleep!

A true find in the heart of Ireland.

Carmel is a most excellent host. She has thought of everything to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable. This is a true find. Surrounded by the rolling open countryside and only a short distance from the beautiful historic town of Birr, The Ring Farmhouse represents exceptional value for money. Everything speaks of quality - décor, bed linens, breakfast ingredients - everything.

It would make any Irish person proud; it really expresses Céad Mile Fáilte: A 1000 Welcomes.

Carmel was a charming host. There was a very comfortable residents lounge with a coffee machine and a fridge, where I was able to put a bottle of white wine. The breakfast was exceptional: freshly baked brown bread and scones, an assortment of fruit yogurts and fruit, and a lovely cooked breakfast.

Great peaceful stay. Beautiful surroundings and breakfast.

We had a lovely little break. We were there for a wedding nearby and the facilities were excellent. The showers were lovely and the breakfast was fantastic!!! including the homemade scones! I am glad I chose to stay here instead of a hotel. It had the most peaceful surroundings! Thank you for making our stay in Birr such a nice memorable one. The room was large and had everything you could want for a short break. Tea/ coffee facilities and a hairdryer. The rabbits leading up to the driveway was so so cute!

Tranquil, scenic, homely BnB in nature

We were in town for a Christening and had the loveliest time. Carmel gave us a very warm welcome and we felt right at home.

The location is very special! The house is tranquil and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The rooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. We especially loved the breakfast with a view. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in town.

Exceptional

Having stayed at the Ring Farmhouse last year I was delighted when they could accommodate me and my daughter this year. Just out of the town a little in peaceful countryside. Welcoming, friendly hosts, comfortable, spotless rooms, delicious breakfasts...who could ask for more! Would highly recommend The Ring to anyone.
