Blissfully quiet (after our first night when some neighbours were having a party) and very comfortable and warm. Flat has everything you could wish for a short and picturesque walk into town.
4.5
Very complete and modern accommodations. Parking access was great.
Not a fan of the long flight of the outdoor stairs to get to the room. Rained every day of our stay so we didn't get to benefit from the walking distance to the town attractions.

Wir empfanden die Lage als optimal. Sehr ruhig, kein Durchgangsverkehr.

The 11a had everything we needed! Clean, comfy and convenient.

The apartment is well-maintained, stylish and comfortable. The host provided free gummies and coffee (pods), toiletries and clean towels. There is a washing machine, but do bring your own detergent! Location is pretty near everything, including central town area, if you have a car. Nice balcony area too :) Host is really responsive and friendly. Danke
Many stairs to the apartment and no elevators/ramps so keep that in mind, as we had heavy luggages! The bed is ok but the pillows are a little too soft and fluffy – this is just a personal preference of course :)

Great value for money

Balcony with excellent view on the New Castle (Neues Schloss) and Schwarzwald mountain range, 10 minute walking distance to Baden-Baden downtown

11a is a lovely one bedroom apartment in a quiet neighborhood about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Baden-Baden. Very clean and the small kitchen has all the things we needed for our stay. Lovely patio outside.

Beautifully designed and finished. Great location to explore Baden-Baden. Fulfills it’s mission to be a ‘home away from home’.
The garden area doesn’t quite match the quality of the interior space.

Quiet, peaceful and great outlook.

11a is a little haven on the edge of the black forest. Close to the town but also in the country, the apartment offers wonderful long distance views. It is a pleasure sitting on the wooden terrace. The apartment is unfussy, spacious and well equipped. Communication with owner Miriam was excellent. WiFi signal was very good and the dedicated parking space most welcome. It is a 15 or 20 minute walk into Baden Baden. Just be prepared for a bit of a steep walk back. But it is well worth it.
It wasn't a problem for us but there are quite a few steps to navigate to the apartment.

Modern apartment with high quality furnishings. The kitchen had everything we needed and use of a washing machine in another building was useful.
Nothing

The apartment itself is gorgeous and tastefully decorated. The bathroom especially is lovely, and the living room is very smart. The location, of course, is stunning, and I loved that our balcony caught full sun so the place was always warm. The view from this apartment is unbelievable.
Baden-Baden itself is an incredible place and the walk to and from the middle of town is genuinely fairytale-level beautiful. The apartment is also very close to a wonderful beer garden and lots of gentle walks despite the hilliness of the area. We had an amazing time on holiday and the apartment was the perfect base.
- We had no cleaning products - specifically, there were bottles but they were completely empty!
- There's no vacuum, so no way of cleaning the floors either.
- Plug sockets in the lounge area didn't work.
- TV says it's a smart TV but there's no way to log into a streaming service, so if you're foreign (which presumably is common since this is a holiday location) and don't understand much German, you can't watch TV.
- Bed is nice and big but comes with single duvets for some reason. Very difficult to get warm and cosy at night.

Lovely apartment nestled in a calm neighborhood just above the center of Baden-Baden. The apartment is complete, spacious, clean, comfortable and very quiet. Parking is easy and close to the apartment; wifi is reliable. The location is close enough to the city center to reach by foot but it's far enough away to be isolated from the noise and traffic. Contactless check-in and departure is also easy. Would definitely stay here again.

This is really a wonderful, comfortable place to stay. The host, Miriam, communicated with us before our arrival to inform us about parking, city tax (and city discounts that come with the tax), as well as how to pick up our key. It was very easy getting parked, finding the apartment, and getting the key. The apartment itself was lovely. It was very spacious, especially the kitchen/dining area and bathroom, and it came with a large balcony, although we were unable to utilize the balcony because of the weather. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use! The location was terrific. It was easy to walk down into the town (we went to Friedrichsbad first) as well as up to a wonderful castle ruin. I would definitely like to stay here again if we can return to Baden Baden!
Nothing; everything was great!

Very clean and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. The check in process was very easy.
The soundproofing from the apartment above was quite poor so you could hear any movement and footsteps so would not recommend for light sleepers!

Lovely apartment with great fittings and details and all felt very clean and crisp. Felt very at home and would absolutely visit again!
We didn’t have a kitchen sponge but otherwise couldn’t fault it.

Nice easy access with key in lockbox. Lovely good quality apartment. Great to have a separate bedroom to the cooking area, big comfortable bed. Outside terrace was great too. Even the use of a washing machine was very helpful. Excellent.

The apartment sits opposite the Neues Schloss with a magical view of the hills above Baden Baden. Quiet and peaceful, everything we needed was provided. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities were great.
The hills are steep but if you can, you should walk down into the town going past the Neus Schloss on your left , lots of steps but well worth the effort - it takes a leisurely 15 mins and warrants a couple of ice creams when you reach the town!
There is a bus stop just outside Herrenguit 11A for the No.28 which, although it doesn't run through to the evening , is a great experience in itself. It takes a circular route down into Baden and then up into the surrounding hills before returning to Herrengut - many properties to die for along the way!😎
The Altes Schloss is just around the corner; 5 mins by car, and the Merkur Mountain Funicular Railway, perhaps a 10min drive away - both well worth a visit.
Just one issue - the pillows and quilts are absolutely are really quite "washed out" and need to be replaced.

Clean, cosy, excellent and top quality furnishings, thoughtful touched such as coffee pods, little treats and toiletries. Communication was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended!
There were just enough cooking facilities. A wider range of utensils would have been greatly appreciated. The large plates didn't fit in the dishwasher very well.

Fabulous location, just a 15 minute walk to the town centre. It's on a hill so quite a climb back up but we loved the benefit of the "country feel". The owner had left the basics needed to use the dishwasher, washing machine, coffee etc which was wonderful - so often you get nothing at an Air B&B so this really helped as our 2 week trip had included lots of hotels!

Everything! It was lovely.
