Average accomodation with funny customer service
It was a nice new room with a good equipment. The castle in front of the hotel is impressive. Of course the nature and the possibilities for trips are great! If you are there, buy a goat cheese from a family farm next door. It’s delicious.
The attitude of the staff. It was right before the emergency times due to the coronavirus, though I understand it was a bit unusual situation. However first they told me it’s not possible to cancel the reservation that pension is open and I can as any other “normal” person come. I had during the reservation stated that We can come only around 9 p.m. and they confirmed it’s fine, however just before arrival they told me noone will open us after 8 p.m. After many calls with staff they actually let us accommodate. The lady chef who let us in was the only nice staff. The pool was closed because of the coronavirus however not even a little compensation was offered to us. Therefore the accommodation just for a room with no facilities was very expensive. (Restaurant closed as well so the breakfast was very basic in the box to the room). Saturday party - we were told we are the only guest so I am not sure if it was another guest or staff, but the party next room was extremely loud till midnight so we really couldn’t sleep. Considering the rest of the place was empty I really don’t understand why they have to accommodate bunch of shouting, drunk people hitting walls and moving fir it all night right next to us.
