A nice break

Building works

The apartment was well equipped and very central for bars and restaurants in and the Quay,

There were a lot of building works going on according to the website the works should have been completed in May, however there was still scaffolding around the building and the view from our apartment was overlooked by builders containers, which my wife found unsettling as very overlooked. Sunday was ok (weekend) however 7:50 am prompt everyday following we were woken up by loud drilling and banging as well as the odd expletives from the workers, there was television was confusing (not connected to internet)(no terrestrial TV) I like to keep up with news etc so no major channels. The apartment was clean except rug under table needed good hoovering In the end came home a day early as was not as advertised and can honestly say ruined an otherwise lovely stay, so in brief if thinking of booking this property check with the letting agency as to whether works are complete otherwise I would cancel and ask for refund

A little Gem

The area of the apartment was central near everything .The apartment itself was well equipped with everything you need.Light and airy the beds were very comfortable .All communal areas were nice and clean.Surprisely not too noisy as it had workmen there sorting out new cladding.I would suggest new photos as there are no longer leather suites and a square table not a round one .Also has new pictures hanging up .

The TV is run by the internet which kept lagging,I think older people wouldn't be able to use it .I'm not a tech person but got it in the end .

Very good

The whole apartment was clean, was really impressed.Lots of towels provided.Nice surprise to find a bottle of wine plus plenty of tea and coffee.

Even though it stated some scaffolding when I booked I wasn't expecting to have windows, doors completely covered and unable to open, I felt quite trapped and was concerned about if there was a fire as doors were sealed from the outside, put me on edge quite alot.

Wish we could have stayed, or even moved in!

There were things left to be helpful... carex soap, fairy liquid, shampoo and conditioner, coffee, tea, hot chocolate (which our 13 year old non caffeine drinker loved), sugar and sweetener, biscuits, and an enormous blanket which I for one really appreciated as I am a particularly cold person. There was also a large fan in the lounge for radiator hubby, and a mini fan in the smaller bedroom which the little one had on for a good part of one night when it was warm. I think everything had been thought of! There were even manuals left for how to work everything. Everything was spotless. I was sad to leave!

I couldn't say I didn't like anything really. I'll just mention the couple of things that I noticed because I would like it if someone told me if it was my property. That the kettle needs descaling because tea and coffee comes out bitty. That the bath plug leaks, letting water out while you're in it. Oh and my daughter (our resident dishwasher) says she was looking forward to there being a dishwasher like it said on the ad that there would be one so please would you update the ad as there was no dishwasher. She's not fussed but she was looking forward to being able to use one for the first time and getting out of her chores! 😊 An amazing stay, though, truly. Thank you.

good location and liked the apartment, just needs things reviewing if not stayed in for a while

the location, easy check in and out very comfy beds. good travel links

the microwave was broken, bugs were found in the bath, loud central heating during the evening so couldn’t use and Wi-Fi very slow when more than one device in use.

We loved it.

We in centre of everything. Apartment was a lovely surprise. There were a few bitsvthat needed looking at. I gave the list to the office. Very secure.

The sink was a bit smelly.

Nice location, ideal for seeing a lot of Dorset, not impressed with cleanliness of accommodation

Location was ideal and facilities were basic but OK - be aware of noise from people out and about at night

We picked up keys in reception and by the time we had parked our car next door and taken cases to apartment, a person we had seen in reception was in our room when we opened door - they said cleaner had gone off sick so she was doing it, and she left a couple of minutes later after doing toilet - which is when we discovered that rest of it had not been cleaned - dirty tea towel left, greasy finger prints on cupboard glass doors, muck all over floor inc finger nail clippings and dirty shoe prints on bathroom floor. Considering the Covid climate, when thorough cleaning should be undertaken, we went out to purchase cleaning materials and cleaned and hoovered the place ourselves. We complained when office was open again on Monday morning and was offered a cleaner to go in and do it but we had done it by then, plus didn't want anyone in apartment for Covid reasons.
