Me ha gustado mucho la casa, los jardines, las habitaciones... El desayuno muy rico. Las camas comodísimas. Los dueños muy amables.

Our hosts made us feel very welcome. There was a little language barrier but nothing that couldn't be sorted. We were offered an evening meal on arrival and had a lovely b.b.q with them and the other guest.Lovely, peaceful spot.
Nothing,all good.

Corinne and Laurent were lovely hosts. It's a real home from home. Comfy beds and good facilities. Lots of outside space to sit and enjoy the summer evenings with a glass or two of wine. The pool was great. Quiet peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Having the option of a tasty evening meal after a day of travelling was wonderful. Our adult sons thoroughly enjoyed the generous breakfast too! We stayed at the beginning and end of our holiday and will definitely return to La Marmoire if we drive down through France again, or maybe just to go back for a few days holiday there! Thank you Laurent and Corinne.

Very friendly welcome and the owners were very kind and offered us dinner which was very good and a fair price. Lovely, quiet location out in the country side with a beautiful garden but was also very easy to get back onto main routes. Our room was comfortable and a good size. It had all we needed for an overnight stop.
The bathroom was disappointing, the bottom of the toilet and the grouting/tiles in the shower were stained. Our room was linked by a door to a family room and this made it noisy at times.

La Marmoire is a charming property and full of interest. The garden is charming and full of mature plants and trees with the added bonus of a heated pool and hot tub. In addition there are plenty of places to sit in the shade or sun with a pebble terrace where we enjoyed eating al fresco.

A beautiful setting, with well presented, comfortable rooms. It was lovely to have the option of an evening meal, which was a hearty home cooked meal and very good value. The shared lounge speed you to mingle with the other guests and resulted in a very enjoyable evening of 3 families (two British and one French) coming together around the chess board - fantastic memories!

Location was great as a stop on our long drive from the south to the north to catch ferry home. We were welcomed on arrive, kids were delighted to have a swim in the heated poor and lovely dinner was prepared for us. Would definitely stay here again, very friendly staff and great with kids.

We especially wanted accommodation in a rural location and this did not disappoint. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable and did everything they could to ensure we did. The swimming pool was an added bonus after a long drive in the sun .

Having toured France on motorbike for many years, the hosts here were the best by far. Although the hosts spoke broken English, their daughters stepped in if required to translate. We were even invited to join the family for a meal during a cross over of guests. Nothing was too much trouble, we only had to ask. Evening meals were fantastic, well worth the cost, would highly reccomend.
The house was lovely in remote location ( which was fine). Large garden to explore, good size swimming pool and hot tub.
Really do not like saying anything bad about our stay, but have to be honest. We were in the large garden room which opens direct onto the garden. There were a few cobwebs in the room and some dust. The bathroom needs updating, the shower overflowed into the bathroom ( didn't drain propely) and rusty radiator could do with replacing.
However, this by no means spoilt our stay.
The hosts have only been operating since January, we are very confident this room will be updated in the near future.

Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. It was wonderful to arrive and be able to relax in the pool and jacuzzi, in their lovely garden. Breakfast was good, and we we had the 'table d'hôtes' one evening, which was very good, and it also meant we could relax with a glass of wine, without driving into Châteaubriant.
The room was under the eves, so a little hot, but a fan was provided. The bathroom was also under the eves, so going to the toilet was a little tricky for my husband, and the shower was good but you had to be careful not to bang your head getting in and out. These were minor discomforts, and overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other travellers.

A very warm welcome from the extremely friendly hosts Laurent and Corrine and despite the language barrier we were able to enjoy sharing our interests on our three night visit.
The communal lounge and dining area is tastefully decorated, providing comfort to relax and eat a enjoyable French style breakfast. A very well prepared and tasty 3 course evening meal is on offer each evening. An honesty bar is provided.
In the spacious garden there is a jacuzzi and heated swimming pool which was a bonus after our days out visiting the area .
There is ample on site parking.

This place is charming. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. They were also quite individual. It’s very pleasant sitting by the pool and enjoying a drink. The dinner was delicious and we were very happy with the choices offered. Breakfast as well - lots to eat and very tasty.
The place is quite remote but we liked that and the evening meal option meant that we could stay put and relax.

We had a 2 night stay at La Marmoire. Corinne and Laurent were fabulous hosts. They didn't speak much English but luckily their lovely daughter was staying and she spoke excellent English. They made us feel very welcome and cooked us a very substantial dinner. Breakfast, continental, was plentiful and delicious. The bed was very comfortable and the location nice and quiet.

The peaceful countryside location was wonderful, very dog friendly and a warm welcome from our friendly hosts. We were provided with a lovely evening meal and breakfast was great. Brilliant for garden bird watching and lots of lovely plants in the garden (being well prepared for summer!)

The hosts were very pleasant. Unfortunately they only took over Le Marmoire 5 months ago so they are still in the midst of refurbishments outside. The bedrooms and lounge/dining room are tastefully decorated and very bright. And the grounds are really pleasant. They gave us a choice of bedrooms which was nice of them.
Unfortunately we could not receive Wifi in the room we chose and breakfast was minimalistic. The coffee was lukewarm and we were only offered one cup. I guess we could have requested more coffee if we were desperately. Our sat nav could not locate Le Marmoire but luckily a gentleman we asked said to follow him to it. We love animals however there was an odour of cats in the main parts of the house.

The property is amazing, a very relaxing spot in the midst of a hectic trip. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The swimming pool was a great way to cool down after a day of driving and touring. The common area provided a pleasant place to spend the evening reading and playing games.
We enjoyed a great dinner as well as a fantastic breakfast prepared by the hosts. Roger and Susan are superb hosts, providing everything needed for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Very beautiful place! Susan and Roger are great hosts. B&B is situated in a magical place rich of butterfly, flowers and peace. Back the B&B there is a wood and all around the house reign the kindness. The house is very clean, comfortable and the breakfast is very abundant and delicious. We ate here 2 times for dinner, Roger and Susan are optimal chefs!!! Special mention to their mervillous fluffy dog "Daisy", we both fell in love with it. We love this place and we hope to come back here every year for our anniversary. Happy to lived our special day here, we couldn't hope nothing of different. Love, courtesy and peace. Nothing better!!!! ❤️ See you soon our dreams place 🥺

We loved it here. Roger and Susan made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived after quite a fraught journey. Their house with its pool and beautiful grounds was the perfect place to stay on our first night travelling south from Cherbourg. Susan cooked a lovely evening meal, and the breakfast next day was excellent. We left feeling totally relaxed and ready for our next long drive. We'll be back!
Nothing.
