Beautiful accommodation, delightful host, great location

Nanni is the perfect host - very accommodating to all of our requests and questions. Always friendly and willing to help with a sense of humour. The view from our room was incredible and the room spacious and comfortable. The best shower in all of Sicily. Breakfast was a treat served by Nanni. Well recommended.

Loved everything - the only small thing would be the bed seemed to be a little uneven.

Magnifique vue sur la vieille ville de Ragusa/Ibla, depuis notre balcon. Bonnes explications de notre logeur pour visiter la ville et trouver un excellent restaurant familial, "la Bettola", une trattoria au service rapide et joyeux, grâce à des collaborateurs travaillant en inclusion. Très belle chambre dans une ancienne maison bien rénovée.

Tout était parfait Nous avions pris une chambre avec terrasse, la vue y était incroyable, le petit déjeuner copieux, Nanni le gérant est vraiment très accueillant, toujours disponible, très sympathique et drôle. Nous recommandons vivement ce havre de paix.

Petit déjeuner pris sur la terrasse, très bien et quel hôte formidable qu’est Nanni… Je recommande fortement cet établissement…

Rien… tout était parfait… Je viens de penser à quelque chose, par notre faute, on a eu un peu de difficulté à retrouver notre chemin de retour. Mon conjoint a habituellement le sens d’orientation et pas moi, mais cette fois ci c’est moi qui ai retrouvé le chemin…

A room with epic view

It's my second time in Ragusa and my second time in this beautiful B&B. My first stay was a very happy one and I am glad to see they are doing even better. They bought another traditional building three years ago， rooms are very large and beautifully decorated. The view from the balcony is stunning and unforgettable. Breakfast was on the terrace，a rich one. The owner is very kind and helpful.

Great care has been taken in establishing this accommodation, every detail is special.

Nanni the host was extremely helpful and the accomodation was a generous size and had a wonderful view off the balcony with an excellent breakfast supplied.

The air conditioning could not be adjusted under 25d which made the night sleep very hot and difficult.

Exceptional

Spacious and comfortable rooms with spectacular views far exceeded our high hopes and expectations. This is a beautiful, recently restored property located within easy walking distance of Ragusa Ibla, especially via the “secret gate”. Delicious full service breakfast with local specialties. But the best part of Terra del Sole is the warm, hard working and attentive owner and proprietor, Nani, who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and assist with taxi services and recommendations regarding local sites and activities. Not to be missed is Cinabro Carrettieri for a brief tour of a master Sicilian cart maker’s workshop by his charming apprentice and to appreciate these beautiful pieces of art. Perfect relaxing base for a visit to Ragusa Ibla and nearby Modica and Scicli, which are easily accessible by short train ride.

Upscale hotel with a great view

We had the double room with terrace and a balcony. There is only one such room in the hotel. The hotel has a very nice view and we could sit on our private balcony and enjoy it. I chose this hotel because it seemed more upscale than some of the other options and it did not disappoint. The breakfast was very good and served by the hard working manager. I had been worried about the parking and the manager had written me "I will be there to welcome you and show you the parking" and sure enough, he was outside the hotel waiting for me when I arrived. Nice bed, nice bathroom.

Great spot for a few nights in Ragusa

The location was great for exploring the town. The views from the terrace were beautiful and breakfast was extensive and delicious! Staff were kind and helpful with recommendations.

The room had a slightly odd smell. Maybe just the cleaner that they use. Otherwise everything was great!

Very impressive town - and okay location

The view was spectacular of the lower town and countryside. The breakfast was great - lots of good food! Parking was easily accessible and free. Nanni is a good host also.

From the booking.com description, it appeared there was laundry service. There was not. Also, the description indicates that a spa facility is available for an extra charge. It was not ready for use at the time of our visit. It also was not clear to me initially that we were staying in a separate building from the main B&B. The main B&B is beautiful. The separate building is okay but not nearly as nice. Finally, the location is above the mid-point of the lower and upper towns and there is quite a hike to get to the center of town, which is where you want to be to see the sights and enjoy the ambiance of the town. I think we would have preferred being there rather than having to hike nearly a mile to get to a dinner place.
