The location and view from the patio was, as always beautiful. The cottages were clean and had what one would expect from a self catering place.
We stayed at D'Aria in 2022 and had a wonderful time, and decided to stay again in Dec 2023,. D'Aria prides themselves on tranquility however this time around our stay was anything but tranquil. The venue had functions in the restaurant, on both evenings that we stayed, and the blaring, thumping music travelled all the way up to the cottages. The noise continued until midnight and we had no rest as we couldn't sleep. We stayed at the cottages with our family from the UK with 2 small children and they too could not sleep. I called the manager on the second night to complain about the noise and was informed that they would call the restaurant to ask them to turn the music down. This had no effect as the music continued to blare until early hours, and at times were turned up even louder. I am sorry to say D'Aria, but you certainly seem to favour your functions over paying guests in your cottages. You should re-think your motto of a tranquil stay, as this is no longer the case.

I failed to mention on check-out that screw top beers and spirits were refilled with water
I'm not complaining because it's difficult to prove but it's worth mentioning that other tenants cost next tenants
Consider bottle opener required drinks to ensure there's no question of evidence
Nothing really
Was a lovely stay
Will do it again

The location is perfect and the views are breathtaking. The stay was tranquil and lovely. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay
I would like Free Wi-Fi included as this is what all guesthouses offer at this price or lower. That was the only downside, especially for a work trip.

fully stocked mini bar is very convenient, but a bit pricy
Great cottage fully equipped in tranquil setting. Fantastic restaurants on site

The heated towel rails was much appreciated since our visit was during a cold and wet weekend!
Beautiful views and a complimentary bottle of wine of the estate, what more can you ask for!
Nothing!

The aircon on when we arrived in the cold was great. Minibar is great. Staff were friendly.
We've been staying there for a few years and it really is getting old and dated. Lamp shades are broken, bathroom tiles and fittings are old. Bedding is stitched where broken etc.

Everthing
The fact there's a large Dustbin in the kitchen and big black Dustbin bag. I felt that a smaller Dustbin with a more biodegradable bag would suffice.

We were accused of taking a bottle of wine. We don't drink at all...we had coffee and tea.. and to top it off ..we were asked to pay...again...for our stay and had to proof it was paid for three weeks in advance. Never again...

The personal attention to detail was exquisite, alongside staying in such a tranquil and calm calm valley on the doorstep of Cape Town. Will definitely be back!

The mattress of single beds were atrocious. Definitely need replacement. It maybe good enough for small children but does not meet requirements for adults. The springs poke you all night.

It exceeded my expectations

I love the complimentary wine and great coffee actually, as well as rusks. I'll always recommend D'Aria for privacy and space too. Autumn is extra beautiful of course.

We loved everything about this property!! The views from the cottages were incredible! Small touches during our stay made it even more special. Furthermore, the manager Amelda was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be staying here again!

Loved the accommodation on the wine farm so no need to drive and we can enjoy ourselves. The security guards were really friendly and helpful. Loved the free bottle of wine!! We will be back for some mountain biking - the trails look great!

We spent our anniversary night there. We went wine tasting, had supper, and even stopped by Botany for a gin:) before heading to the cottage. There is a lot to do right there, making it a terrific location.
The cottages is peaceful and the view of the vineyards just beautiful.
