I loved the direct ocean and beach view.
I did not like that there was no microwave.

nothing - everything was terrific

We were well received and our check in was quick and simple. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The view of the ocean from our verandah was as advertised. Parking for our vehicle was free and secure. The location to Forster city centre was excellent and we enjoyed meals at the restaurant around the corner from the hotel.

We had a lovely view out over the beach which was just beautiful as well as a nice balcony to sit on and enjoy it. Just a shame it rained nearly the whole time we were there. We were grateful for the underground parking so we could get out of the rain and get our wet weather gear off and then hang it on the motorbike to dry overnight. A short walk around the corner for a delicious dinner was welcome.
The weather could have been better but the hotel wasn't responsible for that.

location, location, location.
The bathroom was very small compared to the room.

location
was misleading and very disappointing that the location was three blocks away from the dorsal apartments

The room was clean and the view of the ocean was wonderful, The location was great, we ate at the restaurant near the hotel and the food was fantastic. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will be back to stay again,
The mattress on the bed needs to be changed it was too hard.

Location and secure parking.
Room could have done with a wall desk and chair.

great view from my room
nothing to complain about
4.1
Location and restaurant below the apartments.
Room was small and ill fitted, was called a Superior Suite. Not up to the standard of other deluxe rooms that we have stayed at let alone a Superior Suite.

location and staff
the driveway! I have a low car!

Brilliant view. 2 bedroom apartment, with single balcony across all rooms with 180 degree views to ocean 30m away. Magnificent - enjoy breakfast at sunrise (but take noise cancelling headphones as the sound of the crashing waves is actually so loud it can affect your sleep!). Also great balcony for drying your swimmers in the afternoon sun.
Bathroom is adequate, separate bath and shower is good. Internal laundry is good (although we didn't use it).
Kitchen is adequate - old and rudimentary, but you can cook up a simple meal. Beware the rangehood isn't flash...too much smoke or steam from your pan, and you'll set of the smoke alarm! (I did!!) Tip - when you cook, keep the balcony windows wide open as well (all have flyscreens).
Fantastic location - literally across the road from the beach, and a short walk from the shops, restaurant and riverbank.
Secure parking available under the complex (essential on the night they predicted a hailstorm!), a little fiddly getting in and out... but also unlimited street parking right out the front of the apartment, for convenient access.
This apartment is NOT part of the Dorsal Hotel. It is in a separate apartment building around the corner. I won't call it false advertising - but it is somewhat deceptive. The hotel provides the reception service for check in and any issues that might arise during your stay but that's it.
Once you get your head around it, it isn't really a problem...the main issue (for me) was NO wi-fi in the apartment. Fortunately the local 4G coverage seems good with most telcos so you can use hotspot from your phones, but make sure you have sufficient data (particularly larger families).
2nd bedroom a little tight for 2 teenage boys used to having their own rooms...but they managed!

very noisy guests in other rooms and
outside the lift made sleeping very difficult

Beautiful location
The restuarant downstairs had a function. The guests stayed outside talking and laughing loudly (with the occasional swearing) until 11pm and the noise travelled up tp our room. On check in, the hotel gave us an information page that asked that noise be kept to a minimum after 10pm. The guests should have been moved on or ushered inside. It was a week night so not accpetable. When i mentioned this at checkout I was told the hotel is seperate................

The room had two balconies on level 5 with views to the beach at the front of the property and the waterways at rear. The room was extremely spacious and included a small kitchenette, with a drinking water faucet.
The closet space was almost non existent, and if you were in the shower and the door was opened there became a problem getting out.
