Our family of 5 had a fantastic and relaxing time at Palm Villas - We particularly enjoyed the beautiful, serene and private tropical landscaping around the property, the views on the surrounding hills and the ocean, the easy access (steps away literally) to a great and scenic local coastal hiking trail that also leads to a beautiful swimming spot in a Mangrove-bordered lagoon (there is a small beach area near the property, but not really a beach to hang out and swim), the private, spacious and very well appointed villa (we ended up cooking most nights, and we found the kitchen well equipped), the private pool, and the welcome local drink upon arrival We also appreciated the very responsive, thoughtful, flexible and guest-centered support from Pierre-Henri (our local contact for the Villa) throughout our stay (we had a few issues to deal with during our stay and in all cases he was prompt to communicate, and always put himself in our shoes -- as travelers who had come a long way to be there on vacation -- when trying to find a solution or providing us with the needed information). We also liked that the property was a little off the beaten paths and in a less "touristic" area on the island (which we liked, but this also means that it takes a little more time to get to those more "touristic" sites and beaches, though everything on the island (even nearby destinations) takes a little longer to get to anyways, as one must drive mostly on small windy (and at times mountainous) single-lane roads :-)
Though minor (and luckily only needed in a few instances, as we were truly seeking to disconnect during our stay), it is good to keep in mind that the WIFI is not always very reliable. Also, while not a major issue (and contributing to the sense of being remote from it all), the last stretch of the (mostly big gravel) trail road leading to the property can get a little sketchy, especially after a heavy downpour, but nothing that our rental car could not handle with some caution and patience. Finally, be aware that while all beautiful, private and well equipped, not all villas on the property benefit from the same views, especially of the ocean (something that was not quite obvious from the photos and descriptions on Booking, which lists several villas on the property), with only 2 villas truly facing the ocean unobstructed (i.e. without other villas and vegetation in between) and benefitting from open views of the water/beach area. So, if critical to your experience, you may want to cross-check/communicate with the owner prior to booking to clarify location of the villa you are considering.

Everything was great. Villas were clean and full equiped. We were couple of friends and staied at Jade Palm and Blue Palm which are next to each other and they are well situated when you want to have some night fun and dont disturb anyone else. Location of villas is also very good...to best south beaches 20-30minutes ride and Clement Destillery about 15-20 minutes ride. We enjoied outside grill as well as great pool. Also stuff was very nice to us. We were mostly in touch with Alice who waited for us in villas first day till late night (as airplane arrive late) and last day she was also very helpfull. We want to come back for sure.
Everything was fine.

Amazing views. Well equipped kitchen. Great pool. Beautiful villa overall. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us with a crib, high chair, electric adapter, even bringing us child safety plugs for the electrical outlets. We would recommend to others and would go back again ourselves.
It is a bumpy unpaved road to the property for the last 2km.
