The boat is in a central location, close to bars and the city centre is within walking distance.
They have a beer fridge on board, which is operated on a honesty policy.
The owners are really friendly and do their best help.

Nothing, it was a boat in a poor location that even the taxi did not where it was.

The owners were lovely and friendly and had put a lot of effort into making you welcome. The marina is a fabulous location to stay, close to restaurants and amenities. There were hot and cold drinks in a kitchen area, and comfy places to sit and relax at the back of the boat. It is all very clean.
Although there was a sink in the room and a shared toilet outside the room, bathroom facilities were poor. The toilet was also wet waste only. If I stay anywhere I have come to expect basic ensuite facility at least. As it is a boat there were only small window openings and although fan blowers were in the room it may be prone to get a bit hot and stuffy. HOWEVER the marina facilities are available and they are excellent although a short walk away from the boat. Also there are steps up to get on the boat which may not suit everyone and praticlly impossible if you have any sort of disability. Carrying heavy baggage up was slightly awkward.

Die Inhaberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es war sehr sauber und alles da was wir gebraucht haben. Unterdeck auf einem Boot zu schlafen war eine besondere Erfahrung!

The location was excellent and staying in the marina was also very cool. Very close to bars and restaurants.
They were doing some work during our stay so getting to the boat was a little out of the way but it was ok.

It was a fun novelty to stay on a boat. The room was really comfortable and clean. We had a nice area to lie out in the sun, and a kitchen to make tea, coffee, etc. The location was by the airport but there was no noise or commotion (it isn't exactly a major busy airport!). Previous reviews mention how it was hard to find but they have constructed a new boardwalk and entry that brings you directly to the boat. The showers and other toilets are located a couple of minutes away but they are amazing - huge private showers with some amenities like hairdryers, and also security guarded.

The yacht is quirky which we love and is in a great location, being in the Ocean Village Marina. very close to shops, restaurants, bars and Casemate Square. it’s also an easy 20 minute walk from the airport (over the airport runway) There is a Tesco supermarket a few minutes walk away. Tea, coffee, milk and water are provided for free. You have access to utensils and a shared fridge to store food. The shower facilities in the shower block were very good and spacious.
The yacht is currently surrounded by building work as they’re extending the marina, so it was noisy from 8am and throughout the day. We had the wheel room with private balcony but there wasn’t any privacy as the balcony was facing the building work with all the workers right in front of us. There was no Marina view with this room. This was only at the back of the yacht where the owners were sat for most of the day, and we didn’t feel comfortable sitting out there with them. The bed in the wheel room was very small so our feet overhung the bed and was also very high. There is little respite from the heat as the room only had a small rotating tower fan which wasn’t adequate enough. Because of this we had very little sleep during our stay. The worst thing for us was that there were no external locks on any of the rooms, so we were unable to secure our belongings when we left the room. There is a safe onboard in the owners berth which we were told we could use, but we felt we had to keep our passports with us as we’d have to keep asking the owners to access them. The doors to the rooms can be locked from the inside though. There are no curtains in the wheel room so during our stay it was very light until late, which also made sleep difficult if going to bed before 10pm. Overall we felt this accommodation was overpriced.

The location was gorgeous, hosts looked after us super well and the showers weren’t far at all from the boat - the top deck is gorgeous to sit there for a drink and relax x
Mosquitos around the marina but that can’t be helped by the area! The rooms were also very hot but was fine for a couple of nights

Different to stay on boat. Awkward to get to with pier closed for repairs but once we found out way it was ok.
Cabin 2 singles downstairs. Beds too small and hard. Back cabin was so dark and stank of diesel hard to sleep.
Cabin near toilet had rythmic whooping noise all night from outside, louder with windows open. Bed uncomfortable could not sleep all night. Wanted to sleep on upper deck lounges but cushions from outside were on them as it rained.
Right near runway we weren't told about although that wasnt too bad.
Would not stay unless had upper cabin bigger bed. Shower was in a different building.

The boat room was amazing and really comfy, and it was convenient to shops, restaurants and bars. The host were lovely and super friendly. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

That it’s a boat; in the protected marina, and only people on the boat have access to the private area.
Lovely balcony overlooking the rock; however we hardly had time to truly enjoy it ; clean, equipped kitchen.
There were no taxis at the airport and we had to walk to the boat- something we did not enjoy in the blistering Sun with a large bag to drag. Johnny was kind enough to come get us when we were a bit lost. It would be nice if lodgers were given Taxi telephone numbers in advance. There are Excellent, buzzing restaurants on the marina. Tracy is a wonderful lady.
The shower and toilets are some distance away; and though it wasn’t an issue for me; it was for others; so if you’re someone who needs to go frequently or have IBS; think before you book. However, they are good, spacious bathrooms - usually clean in the mornings, but not cleaned enough between people using them.
Very little space to move around in the room or to keep your bags;
The bed is too high in the biggest room of the boatel, making it a bit cumbersome; but i suppose that was unavoidable it being a boat, and the bed being on an already raised area. Being a small room, the step to the bed is where one always tripped and was rather annoying.
The room had stairs leading to a terrace, and we kept the hatch open for fresh air; as it got really warm ( in April). A fan was provided, too. All in all, a pleasant , serene boatel. We had a good time.

Great experience! Owners are very kind and responsive, we had everything we need. I definitely recommend boatel to everyone. Despite here are lot of pubs and clubs nearby, the place is very quiet and we had a good sleep.
It’s a bit tricky to find, but again, it worth it.
Lot of mosquitoes, so you have to use spray.

it sounded nice but wasn’t quite what we expected
The distance to walk to the boat.
that there was only one toilet that could be used for passing urine and was shared between 8 people. The communal washing toilet facilities were a short distance away .
No air conditioning in inside cabins .

Great location and staff were super friendly.
We were asked to change room but we were offered a great alternative and ended up having a very comfortable night.

The location at the marina was ideal, and just a short walk from the centre of town. The living area is nicely decorated and cosy, and I like the provision of alcohol and the honesty box.
The toilet (for number 1s only) is very small but the toilet and showering facilities in the marina are excellent.

Tracey and Johnny are super friendly hosts providing easy instructions to get to the marina/boat, being ideally located only a 15 minute walk across the airport runway.
Staying on the boat itself is a unique experience - so glad I booked. Upper deck a great place to chill out with free tea/coffee and well stocked fridge with an honestly box. Rooms themselves are comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. Marina shower & toilet facilities are frankly nicer than most hotels (some even have huge baths) and are barely a 60 second walk away, with a shared toilet for no.1s on board if needed! Plenty of bars/restaurants in the marina with Casemates Square/Main Street only a 10-15 minute walk also.
Couldn't recommend highly enough.

I cannot recommend this White Dove more highly, so much so we are cutting our Spain road trip short and have booked to come back at the end of our adventure!!

Location is amazing, close to the bars and restaurants, great view. Homely atmosphere on the boat. Really comfortable bed. Beer, tea, coffee on board. Quiet and clean 👌 Will back again for sure
We like everything, but wallpaper might not be in everyone taste 😉

As soon as I got to the boat I was greeted by Tracey with a warm welcome. Went over the amenities available on the boat and rules for the boat, but explained at the location they are moored has fantastic facilities for what the boat does not provide (as you would expect, showers ect) which are a 2 min walk from the boat itself, so no issues. If you are looking for something different than your normal hotel stays and "welcomes" that are paid for, these people are honest and warm and will do their utmost to accommodate you the best they can. If you are looking for lush top of the market accommodation, get a hotel, if you are looking for something special to tell your friends about and people that will treat you like a human, not just money walking through the door, this is the place for you. At the end of the day, its a boat, I have personally never been on a boat for accommodation before, but I wasn't let down because I expected a boat. I enjoyed my stay and thats my personal opinion, but I do suggest it.
for some, maybe the beds maybe too hard, but like I said, it's a boat, if you put your expectations on a boat, it is what it says on the tin.

Lovely boat, good onboard hospitality provision, short walk from the airport and short walk to start of main shops. Friendly and helpful hosts.
