The rooms, one with a reef window, the otherwise capuchin monkeys. Interactions with zoo inhabitants; lions, hyenas, rhino...the actual zoo too is fantastic. The food and wines were spectacular
Woulnt change a thing

Amazing experience. Stayed in the reef room with views of the hyenas and Oscar the humphead Wrasse. Room was comfortable. Food served during our stay was exceptional. Staff were friendly and very accommodating.
Had a personalised tour of the zoo which was included in the package which was informative . Highly recommend a stay at Jamala zoo.
Everything was superb. No issues at all.

A once in a lifetime luxurious taste of Africa. Great Zoo experience, friendly, helpful staff, amazing food with an action packed itinerary. The only downfall is tee wasn’t enough time in the day to absorb the ambience in all the fascilities.
Was too full from 4 course dinner to enjoy breakfast. A later breakfast time wold have been good.

What an amazing 22 hours at Jamala. The staff were super friendly, the guided tour with John was lots of fun, he knew practically ever animal by name. The meals were all first class, and breakfast with the lions just behind the window was outstanding!
Slightly dead period after checking in and before dinner. We wandered around the zoo.

The display and variety of animals in the zoo is exceptional, and the staff did everything to make the encounter with wildlife easy and informative. The property is maintained in top notch condition, as apparently are the animals.
part of the overnight package deal was a dinner that seemed a bit pretentious.

Upon leaving the Zoo/lodge we were asked if there was anything the Zoo could improve upon. Our answer was how can you improve perfection. Also the staff were incredible, and it was obvious they all have a passion for what they do.
We liked everything ....everything was great.

Unique experience in the heart of Canberra. We are locals but one had only visited the zoo once many years ago. And the other had only visited the aquarium.
We left work at lunchtime, drove to the zoo and we’re transported to another world immediately.
Thank you :)
A little bit it air conditioning noise behind our room.

It was in the middle of the zoo with its own fenced front yard which housed deer & alpacas. The back veranda looked over the giraffe enclosure. It was the most fantastic place to stay.
There was nothing to dislike about the property.

Food lovely, accommodation great, animals great.
Staff in restaurant were intense. Giraffe encounter was not well planned and too rushed.
