We were looking for a budget option for one night and were expecting something very basic, just like the photos, which w

Nice views over the sea and great location.

It was very difficult to find as both google maps and booking.com tell you to wrong route. I also didn’t receive any directions from the property before arriving. I had to call and ask for directions in the end. The property wasn’t very well kept. Things like our door handle, the wall plug for the heater and a flush system in one of the shared bathrooms were damaged. Not to mention the damp and mold in the bathroom, bedroom wall and even the curtains. All the wood work was chipped. There were no towel holders, we had to use the door handles as the three hook rack was already in use with our clothes. There was a big grease stain on the wall above the bed where supposedly head grease has been rubbed for years. The bed felt damp and clammy, mattress and pillows not very comfortable.

Difficult to find, had to go through Inatel Hotel to get to the hostel. Maybe more indications about the location would be helpful.

Best choice in Oeiras for me

I stay in this Pousada every time I am around. I love this simple but very exclusively located place. It’s always very clean and stuff is super welcoming.

almost impossible to find

friendly nice people at the reception, we had to leave before breakfast and they were kind to prepare the snacks to go.

impossible to find, there is no sign anywhere, it is not possible to drive closer from the sea side, drive to Inatel Oeiras and then just continue through the camp area and you reach to the parking of this place. Super old, cold, rooms looked little like a prison cells.

May be good for one-two nights, only because of great view and sea promenade

generally very helpful staff, absolutely cool location direct on sea, wind and waves to feel

our room needed renovation because of humidity influence (green walls and sealing). No place for clothes when you go to bed, no chair, no small table. No electrical socket close to bed, charging of our two PCs, videocamera and two mobile phones was a challenge. On the late evening before our departure when we needed to leave at 04:00 in the morning a big group of school children arrived and celebrated until midnight. Nobody from teachers of from hostel stuff seemed to actively make the quiet. No place incide room and also incide the accomodation for work on PC: no table, no chair.

Amazing deal

Super good conditions considering the price. Amazing location nearby a beautiful beach. Comfortable bed. Clean. Very friendly staff.

Some lockers in the rooms were broken. Breakfast items limited (go early).

Great for couples

The apartment was perfect for our needs as a couple. We loved our own private terrace too. Thank you for providing us with soya milk for breakfast too.

The breakfast was very basic, especially for vegans like us. It could have included more fruit or larger portions of cereal for those who can't have the meat, cheese, yoghurt and cake provided.

Affordable but below expectation

Affordable and in a beautiful area

I booked a double room for me and my brother which clearly showed 2 separate single beds (in description and photos). However, once we arrived we were given a "couples room" with a single couples bed. There was no other room available so we had to share the bed :) not tragic, but it would have been unpleasant if we were not related. There was also some hair on the floor so cleanliness could be better.

Recommended!

All staff were friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast offered! View to the ocean with the closest beach about 10 minutes walking. The area is beautiful, although it is 20 minutes walking by public transport and around 15 minutes from the supermarket. Restaurants and bars in the Marina are very close to the hostel, in a lovely atmosphere.
