Everything was great - from the time we were greeted by the host Luigi (Robert Kennedy's look-alike) to everything else.
All was good and the owners were very hospitable

Espaços generosos, limpeza lá e hospitalidade
Qdo chegamos, parecia “abandonado”.

Great location with views out over the valley - archeological sites in walking distance. Lovely restored old villa with ancient olive trees. Hosts very friendly - home cooked meal for dinner excellent and good value.
Some difficulty finding it if driving down from town - sign not readily visible as entrance next to another site - missed it a few times

Nelle vicinanze buoni ristoranti.
Niente.

Luigi and his family were very welcoming friendly and helpful. Loved the jacuzzi and bar surrounded by the beautiful old olive trees. Also the bonus of a distant view to the valley of the temples and the restaurant nearby that Luigi recommended called Carusu was outstanding.

Beautiful views and the family that run the property are super friendly and accomodating. Also walking distance to the valley of temples.

Good location, provide private parking, could go to Temple of valley by walking. The B&B was housed in a farm yard with a good variety of friut trees, flowers, and plants. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, resting on armchairs outside the B&B was very relaxing.Breakfast was also excellent, with good variety of selections.
no electric kettle for water or coffee making. There was an electric oven, however, the power supply was broken. Would be good if there were hooks for hanging of bath towel/clothes near shower area. Someone playing music till 11pm which was a bit disturbing, as I only stay for one night, not sure if it was a common situation.

Amazing location overlooking beautiful gardens and with views of the valley of the Temples.

Wonderful setting with spectacular view over The Valley of Temples. Our room was beautifully decorated with high end soft furnishings and very clean. I would highly recommend staying here.
One grumble, which would not stop me recommending however, I’d have liked to know first.
We were invited to have dinner at the Villa. Due to the language barrier (my fault I know) it was difficult to understand the pricing - we’d had a big lunch, and only wanted a snack and our son wasn’t eating. Food was wonderful, simple, set menu of Sicilian food (sardine, aubergine, pasta). On check out we were told it was €90 for the dinner, which I felt was high, particularly with no prior warning. We were also asked to pay in cash (our last morning so didn’t have enough, so I would advise to carry cash).

Breakfast was exceptional. The whole stay was great. We will be certainly coming back. Thank you, Pietro!

The cats and dog were super cute. The garden was incredible. Eating from their land is such a bonus. Prickly pears, oranges, lemons, almonds etc..

this wonderful property is set in a perfect location. beautiful gardens, ancient trees, a spectacular view over the Valley of the Temples and out to the sea.
the room was lovely. after a day of touring, a soak in the hot tub was just what we needed. breakfast was served on a beautiful patio and was plentiful. the owners are lovely people and were so attentive to all of their guests. I would highly recommend Villa La Lumia.

Ambiance really fantastic. views to the temples because in walking distance of the entrance to Valley of temples.
premium accomodation. really feels like an upmarket Italian villa. grounds are manicured and breakfast of superior quality. great value for a premium product offering. we had king suite which was huge with dining, kitchen, lounge and separate bathroom and bedroom which was also large.

Whole family loved this B&B! The views of the Valley of Temples and surrounding countryside were amazing. Could see one of the temples (Concordia) lit up at night from the B&B. We were a group of 14 family members. Quite a few took advantage of the "cold tubs" as we called them and found them quite refreshing after a 100F day. They weren't really cold, just ambient temperature, which was perfect. The rooms were lovely, beds comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They helped facilitate a last minute dinner reservation for all 14 of us at Trattoria dei Templi, which was walking distance and delicious. The breakfast the next morning was freshly prepared, plentiful, and so so tasty! Probably the best breakfast of our trip. An extra bonus was a litter of kittens playing on the terrace during our meal. Quite a few of our group members were missing their pets and thoroughly enjoyed watching the kittens. Wish we had booked more than 1 night. Would love to go back.
We had several rooms. Apparently, the air-conditioning didn't work very well in one of the rooms. The rest were perfect.

This family owned place was absolutely amazing - a "paradiso" on top of Agrigento with a magical view of the Valley of the Temples lighted by night! The room was furnished in a traditional style and fully equipped. Tasting dinner in the garden with a temple view perfectly fitted the warm hospitable atmosphere. an absolut top of our Sicilian trip - thanks!
It would be a waste of time trying to find small nonsenses.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Right when we arrived a staff member was there to greet us, help with our luggage, show us where to park and to our rooms. The grounds were so interesting to wander around. In the evening, we took our bottle of wine, found a great spot and enjoyed the view of the temples. The 1,000 year old(?) olive tree was an added treat. Breakfast was very good and my husband enjoyed his cappuccino. Our rooms were spacious and one even had a kitchen. Very close and convenient to Valley of the Temples. It was one of those places where you wished you could stay longer.

A lovely place to stay in Agrigento! We wish we had had one more day to spend there. The setting is beautiful, the room was large and attractive. The staff - a family - was very nice and helpful. We had a lovely dinner made by the family and eaten under beautiful old olive trees. There is also a nice patio with lawn chairs and a bar (with hot tubs which we didn't have time to use). Parking is on-site. And we were able to walk from the hotel to the Valley of Temples as well as the museum and back again. A really wonderful place!

Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff operating the B&B are so friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was delicious.
The views of the archaeological park from the rooms and breakfast area are really good, specifically the breakfast area. Plus the resort dog is super cute and friendly.

This is a wonderful place. The view to the Valley of Temples is stunning, the staff very nice and friendly and we could have invited like 2 soccer teams in our literally huge apartment. The family who are hosting this beautiful place also offer diner. It maybe may look a bit expensive on first sight, but is a fantastic meal in several courses with wine and home made arancello (the orange variant of limoncello). The Italian guests were applauding for the cook!! There is also a huge garden with orange trees (for the arancello, right :-) and centuries old olive trees.

perfect location, right outside the valley of temple, good breakfast! nice room.

The view was phenomenal and great location near the archeological sites.
Really had a great breakfast and dinner was good too.
They had their own olive oil that they made themselves which was excellent (we bought a bottle to take back).
