It’s an amazing place to get grounded and chill and rest. Absolutely astonishing location in the forest, with two chickens and a lovely cat❤️
There was a pretty comfortable kitchen where we cooked breakfast.
A complimentary welcome bucket was with the most tasty dairy which I had tried in my life.
In general, the place is new, clean and very aesthetic

We loved the location and the secluded feel of the lodge. It was a great base location for exploring the west end of the island. Having the kayaks and bikes available was wonderful! The welcome basket was beyond expectations! It had all sorts of fruit, wine, cheese, bread, espresso, milk, yogurt, granola, honey, etc., everything we needed for breakfasts and snacks. The cabin had huge closets, comfy and clean spaces to enjoy. We would definitely stay again.
There isn't anything we didn't like. I have one suggestion, since we hiked and swam a lot, a clothes line to hang dry would be great.

Location
Welcome basket.
Included bikes & kayak.
Not very secluded.
Need traps/pest control near trash, but understand this is normal in forest conditions.

After our delay of the flight we arrived at 2am and it was no problem to check in. The owner is very friendly, he prepared breakfast for the next morning for us
The lodge was clean and comfortable, included everything we needed. We felt like at home!

Great welcome basquet of local food (honey, milk, wine, bread, cheese, annanas, cereals,...).
Bike and double kayak are included in the price. The lake is 120 m away.
André was perfect host. He has managed to let us in even though we have arrived at 01:00 in the night. Later he visited us, explained our questions and we hade nice talk in general.
With bikes we have visited the other lake and a picknick park on the other side of the lake.
I took an advantage of the kayak few times.
Local people are very friendly. Bread in bakery costs incredible 0.35 EUR.
View from the house to both sides was like two super duper high definition TV with the best slow TV channels.
If you forget how to enjoy your life, local cats will show you.
We were here out of seazon (March) so there were no crowds of people.

+ nice location, right by the lake and away from the main road
+ easy check-in and invisible hosts, you get all the privacy you need
+ very generous welcome basket with local cheese and wine, bread, fruit etc
+ lovely fireplace and cozy lighting of the rooms, beautiful views of the greenery surrounding the cabin
+ there’s a canoe for 2 ppl available, which you can take to the lake if the weather is nice even in winter
- can be cold and damp in winter, especially in the bedroom where the heat from the fireplace and air conditioner doesn’t reach.

Andre was clear and helpful, the welcome basket was very much appreciated, and the place was quite clean. Cabin was quiet, but still had modern amenities (WiFi, smart TV, etc), and we particularly enjoyed the wood burning stove, which we took full advantage of every night.
Only complaint was that the bed was quite stiff - not necessarily the most comfortable for us, but I know that sort of thing is a matter of preference.

Location and coziness
Bedroom would need a heater for winter times

In the middle of nature, very quiet.
The house is very cosy (there is a fireplace) and clean and the host very kind.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 8 nights. The host, Andre is very attentive, kind, and communicative. A welcome basket was very generous, that included fruits, wine, bread, local cheese and so on. I can't say that everything was perfect, but it was a kind of accommodation that I felt very comfortable like it's my home, which is more important than the appearance of the place. I enjoyed the solitude of the place far away from busy city. Quiet and peace. That was what I was hoping during my vacation. My favorite memory is an ambiance created by the warmth and smoky smell from the fireplace when there were rain and fog.
In my standard, everything was fine. I understand why other reviews mentioned that the bathroom can be improved, but it was okay at least for us. Perhaps ventilation system could be a nice addition to this place.

Exceptionally stunning lake side location, rain or shine. The lodge is very well designed and cozy (bed is comfortable!), well furnished and stylish. Was also very clean. Host is very friendly and responsive, provided all the help we needed. Very well put together welcome basket!
Would have preferred if guests can have the flexibility to access the washing machine and dryer. Our clothes were washed and folded perfectly by the cleaning staff, but it is so much work and one would feel bad asking more than once even during a longer stay.

The atmosphere and location are great. For Nature Lovers definitely the right place to stay. Andres father is such a great and welcoming man, who gave us the best insiders and recommendations for our stay.
Having stayed in 3 different places on the Azores, I have to say, unfortunately, the price-quality ratio was not as expected. For newly 200€/night, I expect a much higher quality. The only reason for my “lower” ranking.

Excellent location, friendly host and excellent house.
Nothing to declare.

The host was amazing. We landed very early after a short red eye and he had a free room he offered to us for rest with the tired baby. It made for a perfect start to the trip and the views from the cabin are amazing. The cabin was simple yet well fitted out with breakfast goods that lasted us through our stay.
We had asked for a crib and there was a real baby bed set up for us with a baby blanket and towel as well.

Our host met us with a basket of regional treats and spent time covering the things to do in the area. Loved the location and the small town. I loved the cloth bread bag he provided so I could walk into town to the bakery to purchase fresh bread! Loved Sete Cidades and the cabins!

A wonderful, architectural and stylish boutique accommodation in a beautiful tranquil environment. We received a wonderful welcome.

Loved the secluded woodsy and eco friendly feel
The drain in the shower needs a bit of attention as it was slow draining. The shower head, door bottom needs a bit more thorough cleaning

great TV, amazing fireplace, nice design and beautiful garden, clean sheets, very comfortable stay
the kitchen and bathroom (shower) are a little run down, also the leather on the bed is crumbling and there were small details that could have been improved, it looked at bit newer and fancier in the pictures, like it had a bit of a higher standard

Great location next to the Lake. Amazing basket with fruit and local products. We did not need to buy anything to eat for three days :) Bikes and boat available for free.
Bikes deserve better service, but are ok for short distance.

Located perfectly beside Sete Cidades Lake, apart from being beautifully designed which makes them really cosy and comfortable. Exactly what we expected.
Nothing to argue about, apart from being so remote and need to drive out of town to get to a proper restaurant. But in a way, that's part of it's beauty.

The perfect place to stay a few nights and do the trails around Sete Cidades. The trails end right beside the lodge so it was amazing to finish up after a 3 hour hike and put our feet up. We also used the complimentary kayaks and bikes.
Jose checked us in and gave us loads of tips and also the most beautiful basket full of local products. It was so tasty.
We also went to the supermarket beforehand to stock up on some extras.

Love the quiet and hidden location, just by the lake. The owner is a great person, very friendly!!

Architecturally, the residence is very beautiful.
The residence is in need of some maintenance work. The shower and the kitchen are a bit old.
The residences are located inside the owner's private garden, and even though the lake is just a few meters from the residence, there is no lake view.
I find the price a bit excessive.

1 minute from the best view of the lake, we jumped on the kayak and just sat there taking it in.
