It was overall very clean, delicious meals (especially Japanese traditional dinner provided in our own room by the staff), staffs were very welcoming and kind, loved on-sen (hot spring)

The main building is just in front of the Arica river. The hotel is about 3-min walk away Limousine bus stop. In-room dinner is above quality. A dining room is provided in Annex building if you don’t reserve meals. Nice public bath with three pools.
Mis-understanding of room size. When you book a room, it specifies 36 sqm. Actually it consists of 10 tatami (about 16 sqm) the remaining space including about 2 tatami balcony, three tatami of bath room and entryway, and half of specified space are storage and decorative spaces, really unexpected ratios. Many residents can only take shower at public bath rather than in room bath room!

Very good location and good service. The staff explained detailedly on the menu and food included in our package.
The kin and gin onsen was very relaxing, great experience!
Only large size yukata available in the room, which was very large for a petite girl.

Very friendly staff, the hotel is very clean and the food is delicious - we had beef shabu shabu dinner in our room, breakfast was in a small dining hall on the same floor, which was more comfortable than sitting on tatami in the room.

The location of the hotel was just round the corner to the express bus terminal and attrations points.
The room deco needs to update. The outdoor hot spring was so small that only accomodates 2 persons at a time. Amenities and facilities at the public bath were just basic. While services of staff at meals and room service were excellent.

The staff were all very polite and helpful, and the onsens were well designed and a great addition. The food was really delicious and there was plenty.
The onsens were just a little too hot actually, it was a little uncomfortable. One criticism was the food felt a little rushed; there was an awful lot of food and the staff kept brining in the next courses pretty quickly right after the previous so I couldn't quite relax and eat at a relaxed pace, but they were always so polite and maybe that's how other guests usually like to be served...

The dinner was awesome it’s a 3 course dinner. The breakfast just rated 8 but it’s great. The plus is the Onsen.
Just improve the breakfast but I guess I’m American looking for bacon and OJ😜
4.5 / 5.0
Everyone was very helpful and friendly even with my broken Japanese, great service. The room was spacious, and dinner was amazing, there was so much food I could barely finish it all. It's close to the train and bus, only around the corner from the main street of Arima. The perfect place to have a weekend getaway.
It's really not bad at all, but if it gets more crowded during the peak season, their onsen (the famous gold spring) might be a little small. The river opposite the hotel might be a little loud for light sleepers, but it's part of the charm.
