close to the beach. next surfspot 5min walk. friendly staff. good surfequipment for rent. no problems with the bill.

house poorly soundproof. you hear everything going on in the house. manager and his aides are working in the living room. since you don‘t want to disturb, you might not feel comfortable staying down there.

should have stayed a month to surf!

the place was super clean and neat. lots of great surf art and an interesting library. Nilson, the host, was super chill. amazingly one of the staff knew my brother. small world ha ha. this was a good spot for a couple of days. it would be a great spot for a month to hang out and surf. everyone made us feel totally at home.

we stayed for a surf trip so didn’t really expect to spend much time at the property other than when we were sleeping an

It was kept clean (kudos to the staff) with all the facilities that we needed. As we were on a surf trip it was nice to have someone to hang and wash wetsuits, store boards and chill out to after a surf. We liked how relaxed it felt, always felt welcome and had fun interacting with other guests and staff.

could do with access to the back of the property without going through the living room but that’s being really picky and to be honest it isn’t much of a bother.

Exceptional

This place had a chill, friendly vibe. I felt so at home here. It was clean and well organized. The kitchen even had a knife sharpener. The host was honestly the best host I have ever met at any hostel or guesthouse. He was very friendly and polite, and really took care of his guests. The location was just a few steps from the cliff overlooking the water, and a path down to the surf spot. There were restaurants, a grocery store, and a car rental within one block.

Honestly, there is nothing to complain about here.

Really lovely people and relaxed vibe, we had a great experience!

it was new, clean, and very homey. the beds were soft (finally, since we only had very poor beds during our vacation) and its in front of the beach. inside garden! and organized kitchen to use.

Great place just next to the ocean

The location is amazing, just a minute from the ocean. One can hear the waves at night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms and facilities are clean and the kitchen well equipped. The breakfast was a nice touch.

The room was on the upper floor and had a very low ceiling. Not a big problem, if you just sleep there. The breakfast could have had a bit more options, such as cheese or yogurt.

The house is located beautifully and has super nice and accomodating staff! Surf instructor Guilherme was very helpful and friendly too. Perfect for couples and friends looking for a calm place with great opportunities for surf and hiking among cliffs, beaches and the sunset.

Perfect for relaxing and surfing

Dream view from the balcony. Great for surfers as it is right by the beach, easy to store equipment on the back terrasse. Paula was very friendly and helpful. Short walk to Baleal. Very quiet street, so good for sleeping.

Breakfast would have been the cherry on the cake :)

Super cute and friendly place almost in front of the beach!

I had a very comfortable and clean room. The house was super cute! Both girls (Ana Paula and Miriam) were extremly nice. They even cooked for us all for dinner one evening.

Hang loose at Surfness

Paula was extremely friendly and helpful, and a great host. Nothing was too much trouble. The surf coach Guillelme was also a brilliant teacher, and with the location a 5 minute walk from the beach it was perfectly situated for surfing and close to local bars and cafes.

There wasn't anything specific that I didn't like.

Wow. Absolutely Wow. Perfect Home for Our Stay at Baleal/Peniche, Where We Had Great Times!

Staying at the SurefNess Lodge was really amazing to us. We stayed there for 2 nights, but we should have stayed more because: The atmosphere at the place was really family-like, Paula & Ilya (the hosts) were super friendly, always helpful for anything you need, from Surf lessons to restaurants recommendation and travel around the village. The kitchen & saloon are well equipped, with everything you can imagine. The location is great for those who like to surf at Baleal/Ferrel by foot.

If you are aiming to surf/hangout in Peniche itself, you will need to use taxis/private car so might be good to take this under your consideration. Beside that, everything was absolute amazing.

Time of your life!

Paula & Elia are just awesome! I loved everything about the accommodation: it’s clean, cosy and everything you need is there. I arrived as a solo traveller and immediately felt welcome! You can really ask anything to the staff and they will try to help you out! I only stayed for four nights to try if surfing is something I like, the only thing I regret now is that I didn’t stayed longer. i definitely come back for Paula her cookies 😍😂 Thanks for everything! Dylan

Lovely house with lovely people! The house is modern with all you need: nice living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, garden/terrace. We rent the surfing equipment there as well. The staff is great and provided us with all info regarding what to do, where to eat, EVERYTHING possible! Breakfast in the morning was very good as well! We definitely want to come back!

Great experience in a surfer community

We a great time during our stay of only two days . The staff is more than great , they organize surf lessons and other activities. We are only sorry to have spent not much time there .
