The fresh air!
2.5
food was nothing special
rooms and bed and no A/C
needs more street lights
5.0
Breakfast was amazing and such a nice spread to meet all taste buds
Possibly more options for watching tv
4.5
breakfast was good
Chalet numbering and directions to the chalet could have been easier
4.5
Restaurants and places to eat around the area were great
I preferred the place where my friends stayed on the lake to the house we had up on the hill. Not much sun
4.5
The chalets were warm, although a lamp would have been nice in the main living room for ambience. The fireplace was cosy and the rooms warm at night.
They couldve had more crockery/utensils and cleaning products. The TV has all of apps but there was no WiFi to use other than in the cafe, couldn't work or watch a movie.

location is wonderful
An in room compendium would be great, I know we receive info via email but for the price paid, it would be good to have detailed information in the room
on arrival considering there is no in-room wifi
staff were good but need a little more training,
Also small attention to details need to be brought up to speed (again for the price we are paying) eg. cutlery although washed, was very ‘grubby’ from
not dry polishing once washed. it’s not a good look and the marks make them look dirty.
Location sells itself but it’s the service and small details that could elevate this property to reflect t prices charged.

well fitted out comfortable apartment in harmony with surrounds
4.5
deer and wildlife in the backyard. stunning mountain view
there was unflushed faeces in the toilet when I arrived! only thing that was wrong.

peace and quiet
food choices limited

A lovely resort, friendly staff, so much to do.
The food in the restaurant was a bit average.

The location is insane and the resort is great. The pool and sauna are a major bonus !
The only negative point for us was that the bed wasn’t the most comfortable.

This has to be one of the best locations in Australia and the buildings are sensitively designed to fit into the landscape. The walks around the property are great. Staff very helpful, Harro's ski shop one of the best in Australia, breakfast very good.
It is always sad to see the invasion of deer into our natural landscapes. As cute as they are they are so destructive.

Oasis in the mountains absolutely beautiful and so peaceful
4.0
mountain views , serene location
delayed check in time, severe lack of dining options onsite, breakfast was pick up only, no ability to eat at restaurant

The location was good. The spa bath was a luxury but it was not clean so disappointing. I cleaned it myself the first night we were there. The property was comfortable but for the price, a Nepresso/automated coffee machine should be included. An inexpensive upgrade but an amenity I expect when staying at a 4-4.5 star resort.
I was very disappointed that La Cuisine was closed and breakfast was a take away option only. I stay at this resort once a year and for the price, I didn’t like having to have a take away breakfast option only. The breakfast was sub standard in comparison to the last 5 years I have stayed here.
I was also not informed that breakfast was served from Alpine Larder the last morning of our stay. not impressed with the lack of communication from the staff.
Whilst being understanding of Covid related issues and staff shortages, I was also not impressed that Alpine Larder was take away only. This is the kind of holiday/short stay where it is nice to check-in and not have to drive anywhere for a few days during your vacation and to dine at the resorts restaurant options.
see above comments. I wanted to check dates and accommodation options for the Snowy Mountain Trail festival weekend at the resort in February 2023. I was annoyed to be given the reservation number to call from the receptionist. At the very least, they could have called reservations for me to make that enquiry on my behalf and I could have booked a chalet there and then. I just found this approach unhelpful and thought it could have been handled
more professionally. Having previously worked in the hospitality industry myself when I was travelling the world in my late teens and early 20’s, I seem to be more acutely aware with the diminishing level or client/customer care in the hospitality industry over the last decade and when you are paying $1125 for three nights stay at a resort, I expect more than what I received with this recent trip to Lake Crackenback. Which is a shame because my son and I love the resort and location.

Picture perfect location in a world of wallabies, wombats and deer. Fabulous studio rooms a stone's throw from the lake. We would definitely come again.
Very good breakfast but the takeaway aspect detracted considerably from the meal's enjoyment.
4.5
large, well set up and very comfortable bedrooms. clean.
kitchen supplies missing no coffee table or other tables at all in lounge area. minor details but some things missing making the stay a bit less comfortable than it could have been.

It was an amazing house. Only bad thing was we were there too early in the season and there was only the pub style food open. Free archery and sports is cool too!
Nothing. It was all positive.

A really beautiful area, quiet and serene. Very friendly and efficient staff. The restaurant was lovely and the meals excellent.
The accommodation was fabulous, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The grounds were well kept, and the walks great. Easy driving access to stunning areas such as Thredbo and Charlottes Pass/Perisher.
A great buffet breakfast, and a really lovely Dinner menu, with a good selection to suit varied diets.
The weather!!
5.0
location, free activities, the accommodation had everything you need. you didn’t even need to leave the resort
