Refreshment facilities in room I.e. kettle, tea, coffee.

Very convenient to N1 motorway just north of Madrid and within sight of the mountains.
Attached bar and restaurant full of buzz; clearly well regarded by locals.
The hotel - which is quite old - is full of period furnishings and interesting curios.
Ample parking.
It's quite an old hotel - and so the rooms are small and not the most modern. But everything worked and the beds were comfy.
There is a large bar/restaurant opposite which can be very noisy at kicking out time!

I like the rustic nature of the place and friendly
would like the bed mattress a bit firmer way to soft, the parking bays are a bit tight

Not much. We had previously stayed there and quite liked it. Not any more
The room was extremely cold and the heating system did not kick in for about 10 minutes and it took all night to get to a reasonable temperature.( March).
The dining room was very poor ,cold and not welcoming. The menu had several items manually crossed off and not much was left. What we had was lukewarm and not very tasty.

Use this hotel when travelling to and from Santander to southern Spain. It has undergone a programme of refurbishment and the bathrooms especially are more modern and up-to-date. There is a cafe and restaurant which are good value for money.
The Wi-Fi was non-existent in the room we had.

We have stayed here a number of times as it is on a route we travel regularly. Nice atmosphere and good value for miney
As with most Spanish hotels, dinner is served late.

Did not have breakfast but my entrecôte steak was inedible.I could not cut it or chew it and it was stone cold in the middle. The chips were mushed up potatoes and had the cheek to charge 1 euro for a tiny pat of butter Definitely the worst meal ever

good location for overnight stop heading for Santander ferry. Quirky hotel, rather dark and dated but clean.

I booked a 3 bed room. We arrived an hour early to book in and were given a double bed room. It was very nice but would have preferred what I'd actually booked as the dog slept on our double bed and WE had little sleep! However, it was because we arrived early that we were given a room that had been cleaned!
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

we use this hotel when we travel from Bilbao to Almeria. Stop off each way. this was our 3rd time staying there very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and the big bonus, pet friendly.
unfortunately there was no hot water for showers, but as it was 36 degrees it wasn’t a big issue this time
