This was perfect for us and we were sad to leave.

We are a family of 4 with kids aged 13 & 11. The bungalow was perfect with enough space for relaxing. The kids had safe beach access and thoroughly enjoyed snorkelling and kayaking in the lagoon. We didn’t see the host until we needed gas for the bbq. He was friendly and had the bbq running again quickly. There was a convenient store and gas station directly opposite, and a bakery and ice cream shop!

The bathroom could do with a freshen up as I didn’t like the shower curtain. The place was more comfortable than the resort we moved to later on in the trip and I would stay here again in a heartbeat !

Stunning Location

We loved the location. The bungalow was right on the beach and very close to a great bakery, convenience store and an excellent bar eatery just a short walk along the beach. the bungalow was very clean and spacious. would definitely recommend to others.

Just a few minor details. It would be good to have a bedside lamp and a mirror in the bedrooms. Would recommend taking earplugs as the roosters, planes and traffic were quite noisy at times.

Beautiful location right on the beach and a few metres from the water, close to the airport, local eateries and bars and right opposite a supermarket. Staff on sight are really lovely. Exceeded all expectations!

Clean, roomy bungalows on the waters edge

We loved that they had shared kayaks,-having easy access to the water and that they had some snorkeling gear and reef shoes . The sunsets were glorious . There is a well stocked garage and mini supermarket across the road . The bungalows had a great bbq . The sunset bar is a close walk along the beach with free fire dancing shows on some nights . It has a communal washing machine - on the main road so easy access for the bus routes . Plus a quick walk to watch the planes take off- a buzz .

Our Wedding / Holiday

Everything was perfect. The location, facilities & convenient amenities near by, were fantastic. Our hosts, Alby, Tashi & their family were outstanding. So friendly & helpful & nothing was too much trouble. Their local knowledge was amazing & provided us with easy solutions for getting the most out of our stay. Highly, highly recommend staying here & we are returning again next year A+++ 👌🙂🙂

A picturesque comfortable 2 bedroom unit that had everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

we liked the location as it was pretty much close to town. It had a convenient 24 hours store across the road which was perfect.

What I didn't like was the unexpected guests of very large wasps once the sun came out. As I am allergic I struggled with that. That is all

Beautiful Place

The location. Had a service station across the road that had everything you needed like groceries, liquor and hot food. Very close to airport and town centre.

The Heat 🥵😅 but you had your own lagoon area in the front yard that would keep you cool during the day.

I loved how it is family vibrant and welcoming, kind of felt like we were just at home with family, very friendly if we needed movies was able to email and get a reply back, was just very homely with lovely owners who are very helpful.

What a find!

Perfect location, right on the lagoon. Very private in the studio bungalow we had and completely self contained with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Rarotongan Brewery right next door does a very drinkable lager and a well stocked convenience store across the road. You're not in the centre of the action (as you would be at Muri) but if want somewhere that not a resort, is super quiet, private and very relaxing then I can't recommend highly enough. If you don't want to rent a car or scooters, you can flag the bus down right outside the gate. We'll be back!

There's not much not to like. First thought was there no AC, but the ceiling fan was more than enough to keep us comfortable. Not the greatest of swimming beaches due to coral heads but if you swim on the right hand side of the beach there's plenty enough sand.

Awesome, we loved it

Perfect location, right on the beach. Great swimming/snorkeling/kayaking. Very private. Very friendly hosts. Awesome beach bar a short walk down the beach. Petrol station/shop across the road open until late, very convenient.

A telephone in the room was the only thing missing but not a major issue as the WiFi hotspot worked well.

Very good

The location was amazing and the beachfront views. We saw whales everyday from where we were sitting and it felt very private. BBQ on the deck was a great plus.

Exceptional

This was paradise!! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed like family from beautiful Albie. What a delightful host.We miss him already. The villa was perfect.It was absoloutly spotless and the attention to detail was amazing.Everything that you would need had been considered . The location was what I dreamed of.Directly set on a very quiet beach that was perfect for swimming and snorkelling.Under the bungalow were beach beanbags to drag out or you could lie in your lounger on the deck. Across the road was a 24 hr garage that had lots of food..great on a Sunday when everything is closed. Central to everything ( we had a scooter) Our new favourite accom in Raro so we will be making this our next stay for sure.

A slice of PARADISE

The view was outstanding, so beautiful. The staff were fantastic, so kind and welcoming. Exceeded our expectations, cannot wait to come back! They have amazing things accessible too such as kayaks, BBQ, snorkels, etc.

Wifi doesn’t work great in the room but you don’t need it!

Amazing accommodation in handy location

Excellent location, close to the airport, convenience store, town etc yet on a beautiful beach. The property is really well maintained and fitted out. Outside shower and kayaks free to use. Bungalow spacious with large deck right on the beach. Hosts were really nice to deal with as well. Will not stay anywhere else when travelling to Rarotonga next time.

Really this place is so perfect but an improvement would be either air conditioning or insect screens on the windows. Wouldn't prevent me from staying again though.

The real Beach Bungalow on Raro!

The host was very accommodating and friendly. The bungalow exceeded our expectations in all areas including cleanliness, the views and access to kayaks and snorkeling gear. The accommodation is definitely one of the best of the island!

Loved everything about this place - can't find any faults. If I really have to find a fault - it would be tight parking - especially when the landscapers are doing work and require to park in the area as well otherwise it is a perfect spot.

Best decision we made!

I couldn’t recommend this property more highly. We are a family of 3 with a 1 year old and stayed in the two bedroom villa. The villa had a large balcony overlooking the beach and it was fully enclosed and was perfect for our little one to run around! The beach was perfect for swimming and the ease of walking out the villa and straight into the water was amazing. There is a convenience store right across the road which has options galore for food / drink and alcohol - we were across there a lot. It’s a perfect, small and quiet place.

A great place to rest and watch the sea, and reef.

We asked for a late departure as our flight didn't leave until after 6.30 pm and were told we could have it but the day before leaving, we were told we couldn't have it as more guests were taking the room. That meant a whole day roaming around with our suitcases and nowhere to base ourselves. Being senior citizens that wasn't easy. It would have been better to tell us honestly at the start that we couldn't have a late departure.

Nikao heaven

Private, clean, beautiful lagoon and comfortable. There are external showers to clean off the sand and the sand is raked 😂 daily. Would stay here again! Definitely a place to stay for first timers to Rarotonga until you get a feel of where all the activities are. Beautiful hosts Maatua Albi and staff.

I'll be back!

King Studio was spacious & clean, at quiet location, and right on a private section of north-side beach. 24/7 Oasis Garage/Store right across road was ideal for misc buys. Close to main Avarua shopping centre. Alby & Girlie were perfect hosts - friendly & helpful but discret. A perfect week's stay enjoying the tranquility of Pacifica paradise :)

Excellent location, great hosts, beautiful sunsets - shame about the mozzies!

Great location, close to the airport, and situated right on the beach. Perfect if you want to swim, kayak, or otherwise explore the beautiful coastline in Rarotonga. The unit is well-appointed with everything you need.

The accommodation attracts a lot of mosquitos - I would recommend the host consider installing screens or a bed net.

Definitely would stay again

Loved staying here, we had a beautiful view of the beach every morning, exactly like the paradise people look for in Raro. The facilities were awesome, it had all possible kitchen utensils including a BBQ to use and even swimming shoes, kayaks and doughnuts to use free of charge in the sea. Only a walk down the beach from a great bar too.
