Great location, lovely staff, good amount of space for me and my partner. Took our dog with and he was very welcome and good location for him.
Bed wasnt the best

We stayed in the Ocean View Villas - fabulous location. The villa was clean and comfortable. Loved having 2 x TV's,
The floor coverings definitely need to be upgraded - looking at little tired.
From a working situation, it would have been great to have an additional power point somewhere in the dining area to plug in laptops and monitors _ I had to shift the dining table right over to the island bench for my power cord to reach.
Not a huge issue, but just a convenience thing.

Beaches are amazing
Location and facilities are great but the stay was at an old cabin comparable to what we saw on the booking website

We thought the location of the Port Hughes Holiday Park was fantastic. The bed was great, and the lounge was comfortable.
We didn't know that the spa was out of order until the next day after our arrival, when I asked why there wasn't any soap for the spa bath. I was told that the pump wasn't working and that they were still waiting for an Electrician to fix it. There was no sign or notice to tell us that we couldn't use the spa. I booked a cabin with a spa with the sole purpose of using the spa but couldn't use it and we weren't told about it at check-in. There was no mention of a partial refund, instead I was given two little cartons of milk. The lady said that was the least she could do, seeing we couldn't use the spa. Not good enough.

The location is awesome, the communications prior to the stay were excellent, and the accommodation was a really good standard. Not having to bring linen was a real bonus.
There isn't anything that could be faulted and I can't think of anything that would have improved the stay. I'll highly recommend Port Hughes Big 4 Park and won't hesitate to rebook again.

We loved the location it was perfect! We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and watching the sun set over the ocean from our beach front villa. We loved it so much and can’t wait to stay again
Nothing, everything was perfect!

Size of place
No what I booked for. Disappointed as was advertised as beach front...we were at other big4. Dirty floors in side, no front screen, cobwebs in exhaust, couches looked dirty and room had a unusual odour smell to it

TH reception staff who assisted us when we were offered a sub standard room
The Booking.com and holiday park descriptions did not match - different information. The unit the holiday park offered was sub-standard and had none of the extras Booking.com said it had

How the pool had an area for the little kids. They thought that was amazing
The family cabim needed more air conditioning or fans for 41 degree days. We all ended up needing to sleep in the family room

spacious and great views
The place was still fairly dirty when we got there, crumbs all over the couch, previous visitors baby clothes behind the couch cushions. Dirty windows, kitchen cupboards were dusty, and cob webs through out the unit.

Lovely new pool. Short walk to the beach.
The cabins really need a thorough clean! we paid a lot over Christmas holidays and the cabin really needs a spruce up and a good clean, splash marks sprayed on the walls, dirty dishes, the recliners were really grotty, bits of furniture falling off, no dish rack to even put dishes. We shouldn’t have to complain for it to be up to better cleanliness, it should already be up to standard. It was disappointing as a single parent family we don’t get to come away often.
Also staff never answer the phones, why have an answering machine if your not going to return phone calls, and this is not a one off as many reviews stated that phone calls were not answered nor messages returned so nothing has been done to improve that system. It’s unfortunate and really turned me off your caravan park and we won’t be back to stay with you guys.

location and outdoor facilities are great, staff were great.
Cabin was shocking. For a newer cabins there was no fans or air con in any of the bedrooms. The shower heads done stay put & pressure is horrible.
Beds were ridiculous uncomfortable also. really surprised for $300 plus we paid per night was just really poor.

there is a broad walk in the caravan park to the beach. Beach is beautiful with white sand and clear water. Lots of kids activities, incl pool, mini golf, jumping pillow, etc
Cabin needs some maintenance, bedroom door can not be closed, kitchen drawer broken, but functional.
