Pai sunt destule, din pacate : - Atitudinea staffului resortului lasa mult de dorit. - Acest resort se vrea de 4 stele ... pârț, va rog sa ma scuzati, e de maaaxim 3, margarete sau panselute ... - Sfat pt viitorii clienti, la pomul laudat sa nu va duceti cu sacul. Eu cu toate ca stiam ce e acolo si eram pregatit pt acest aspect, am ramas si mai dezamagit decat as fi banuit. - In online e marketat destul de bine resortul si promovat profi, cu atentie pe detalii, sa ia ochii potentialului client, dar din pacate, sincer, cu regret va spun ca realitatea e de fapt o trista amestecatura intre kitsch si mangleala de proasta calitate - Un mic advice in incheiere pt echipa manageriala sau pt cine e in masura sa ia decizii pe acolo ... fratilor, pt binele vostru va zic, pt profitul si succesul acestui bussines, concediati cat mai repede posibil tot stafful care se ocupa de piscinele resortului. Toata lumea se plange de atitudinea lor mizerabila si gratuita. Va rog sa va convingeti si dvs, nu am absolut niciun interes sa vorbesc lucruri nereale. Acesti pustani care sunt pusi acolo sa asigure buna mentenanta si sa preintampine eventualele probleme, sunt extrem de nesimtiti, va rog credeti ma, se comporta arogant si mai autoritar decat este cazul cu clientii resortului. Nu are sens, nu se justifica in niciun fel comportamentul lor, se poarta chiar abuziv si exagereaza in relatia cu clientul. Ba chiar raspund si urat si se simt deranjati daca le ceri vreo informatie, vreo explicatie, vorbesc la per tu cu clientii, pe un ton asa, care pare mai mult ca ne cearta. Eu personal si familia mea, chiar nu am avut nevoie de absolut nimic de la ei, nicio favoare, nicio concesie, ne am descurcat cu sezlongurile si am respectat toate regulile si indicatiile, fara sa cerem nimic si fara sa deranjam, dar ... am fost deranjati, de modul in care s au purtat si au vorbit cu noi si cu alti clienti. Nejustificat si de neacceptat un asemenea comportament fata de client.

The only thing i truly liked were the activities for kids

The fact that the beach is quite far away. The resort is pretty expensive for what they offer, the normal price should have been at least half

Unforgettable experience

The pool, the food variety, clean and comfortable room, the kind and amiable staff.

The sewage smell in the bathroom from time to time, the gym poorly equipped, some equipments not working properly and not worth the money (extra fee for this facility)

Good but could be better

The food was OK, the room was small but comfortable. The kids playgrounds are great, they have a large one outside with a train, and an indoor playground with lots of nice toys and tables and chairs. The pools are also pretty good and the water was warm.

Not very clean, and extremely crowded, especially around meal-time.

We had a good time.

I really liked the villas and the pool. Good and varied food.

The beach is not so close to the hotel. An intermediate parking lot is necessary for those who check in/check out.

Superb

We were 3 adults and 2 kids, stayed at a villa and it was very nice there and very good value for money. The food was good, the staff very helpfull and nice.

I didn't like the carpet on the floors because it retains moisture, also I would have liked a bigger window at the bathroom.

the location was decent

- very very smelly room (the smell was coming from the bathroom sink, and it was so bad that it entered the room even with the bathroom door closed); told the staff 3 times, nobody seemed to care at all, no clear answer was given, I was given lots of b***ts when requested for a room change - poor adults food - very poor kids food

Above average hotel, but disappointing sea

The hotel is really nice, big private parking, great rooms, clean, comfortable double bed, balcony big enough, food was ok- many choices for all tastes, there is a ‘kids corner’ also at the restaurant, but not a lot of variety. Very nice swimming pools, clean and well maintained, the pool for kids it’s heated (maybe too much), the sun beds and umbrella are ok, same goes for the beach - just the usual dirty mattresses. Every evening there were shows on site, live music mainly, shows for kids, entrainment for all ages, overall you could enjoy a nice evening before retiring to the room (the shows were finishing at 22:30).

The location - Venus is not the best summer resort, the beach is ok but the sea it’s disgusting (there is a sewerage pipe 200 m from the Mera beach, in the middle of the public beach!!! Not fault of the hotel but this makes the whole ‘let’s go to the beach!’ into ‘ohhh God, don’t get yourself and specially NOT your babies into that sh!thole!!!’ (ofc most of the ppl didn’t care about that…🤷‍♀️) This is the biggest drawback, otherwise the rest was not so much bothering for us: some bad smell on the hallways, the restaurant had the feeling of a canteen where you eat with meal vouchers, but the outside terrace was nice - overcrowded all the time so you had to choice then to stay inside, the soft drinks were mostly sugar with water, we preferred to drink water or beer, you could have some alcoholic drinks at given times on decent quality. Finding a parking spot it’s a lottery, we got lucky that someone was leaving when we arrived, but only after the guard sent us to another parking that we couldn’t find; hotel is not really environmental friendly - they use plastic cups for everything!

Excellent and we will come back next year. We recommended to our friends also.

The room was cleaned every day, new towels and bedding, so many food choices and entertainment. The private beach was very close and enough sunbeds. The snacks and drinks offered in between meals made such a difference. We didn't go anywhere else as Mera Resort had it all covered. The staff was also helpful on our last day. After checking out at 12pm we had to wait 7 hours for our train. The reception staff spoke with the manager and it was possible to pay to get the same facilities (excluding the room) to enjoy the meals and the pool.

It was hard to find sunbeds in the shade on our last day when we stayed at the pool. In the morning it was a sewage smell in the bathroom.
