Location and cleanliness. Marc was helpful over what’s app too.
No air con but a fan was provided

Great location. Thanks to Marc for his assistance. G
Step stairs however Marc organised assistance. Bring ear plugs as it can get noisy

Location is good.
Very poor value. I would never recommend this property. The owner is clearly capitalizing on location. The apartment itself is nice and "clean enough." However, the check-in was unnecessarily complicated. I was told someone would meet us there. Then I had to provide details regarding the arrival of my train. Ultimately, no one met us at the property. There was a code and key inside a mailbox. There was very limited soap, no shampoo, no conditioner, and no instructions (in English, at least) for operating the dishwasher or clothes washer. There were no paper towels and only one soap pod to wash clothes. I messaged the owner by whatsapp to ask for more supplies. He said the cleaner wasn't working the next day but she showed up very early the next morning with some limited supplies. After we checked out, I received a very rude and unwarranted message from the owner asking me what I blocked the kitchen and washroom drains with. I never used anything other than dish soap / soap and neither of the drains were blocked when I left the apartment. I told him that and he was extremely rude in his response.

Great location and a comfortable apartment with everything we needed.

Convenient location and reasonably priced
There were hairs on the walls in the shower

excellent location, easy walk to many different metros and bus stops. countless restaurant options walking distance too. lively area with a great mix of tourists and locals, spacious apartment with lots of storage, the bedroom has a 1/2 bath too, which was nice having an extra toilet when traveling with 2 teenagers. lots of city guides and maps for Paris in the apt for guests to plan their trip. there’s a cafe right downstairs too.
it’s an old building in a old part of town (it’s paris)… as long as you keep that in mind, you are fine. the bedroom mattress was ok, good enough for 4 nights. there’s no TVs… so don’t plan on watching movies or the news while on vacation. ;) all in all, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
3.0
close to lots of lovely bars & restaurants
strada cafe next door was a treat!
musty smelling on arrival
cooking facilities were minimal
close door banging all night
other residents could be heard during night shouting.
large group of people hanging around in close at night.
No information left for how to get to places, recommendations for food, restaurants & general information on running of flat would have been helpful.

Marc was very helpfull during our stay. In the apartment we feel Paris and the location is perfect.
2.5
We liked the location - during the day
The room was a lot smaller than I expected for the cost. It was VERY noisy on our last two nights which wasn’t enjoyable at all. People drinking talking laughing at 1.30am on the staircase isn’t acceptable at all

Good location.
The apartment that we were given was not the apartment shown in the photos when we reserved on Booking. It was smaller, lacked a sofa and washing machine and a TV. We had planned on having more space and struggled to make the place work. We were told that the booking photos are somehow incorrect, which is the problem of the manager, not the guest.

no hot water when back late at night.

We stayed in the two bedroom unit. One bedroom had a king sized bed and bath. The second bedroom had two twins and a small partial bath (shower and sink) with another half bath (toilet and sink) in the hall. The living room was very large and comfortable as was the kitchen.
There were pictures up throughout the unit of what the space looked like before it was converted into apartments.
The location was great, so easy to get to everything. Found some lovely bakeries and bistros in the neighborhood.
We liked that the entrance had a keypad entry, so you could get into the courtyard before making it up to the apartment. That made us feel very secure when things were busy on the street at night.
The building is not well insulated for sound. Noise from people partying in other flats or out on the street carried. We knew we were staying in a busy neighborhood and expected it but it’s good to know if you are a light sleeper.

The property is in a wonderful part of Paris but don't expect things to be quiet until after around 2AM which is to be expected in such a city. The biggest problem was the people who allowed the big door to the street to slam shut both coming and going in the early hours of the morning. The living room was large and comfortable. Amazing coffee shop right downstairs and any number of a variety of wonderful restaurants etc. within an easy walk.
This is not a place for anybody with a larger than average body shape as the bathrooms are extremely small and narrow. Fortunately this was not an issue for us.

Nice little flat in an authentic neighborhood in the middle of Paris. Centre Pompidou is around the corner and the Louvre and Notre Dame in short walking distance. Several markets for groceries nearby. Simple check-in and Check-out. Owner reachable anytime by WhatsApp. Very friendly staff.

The area is fantastic. Easy to get around and see Paris. The apartment was cute and had everything we needed for a one night stay.
While the person we met to get the keys was lovely, it was a bit of a confusing process as the contact person was a different person. All in all we had a great stay though.

Marais is a very nice Arrondissement for a trip to Paris, we were walking a lot to different places like Les Halles, Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou. During Fashion week, a lot of small studios were opened temporarily to show latest designs.
Furthermore, a lot of Cafes, Bars and shops can be discovered in small streets in walking distance. Found by chance: A'Rhûm with a huge selection of finest rum from all over the world.
The apartement is very nice to rest from activities and has new furniture. A good improvement would be to fix the broken damper of noisy main door.
The city area is very busy, so some noise at weekend nights seems common.

A beautiful, spacious and well-eqipped apartment with comfy beds (we didn't try the sofa bed). The location was great, central to Le Marais and all its delights and attractions. There's a little supermarket two doors away and another larger one a couple of minutes away. We loved Strada cafe right next door with their delicious coffee and super friendly staff! Maria, the cleaner was so helpful when our taxi didn't arrive and Marc, the owner, was very communicative and his instructions as to how to access the apartment were easy to follow.
You probably need to keep your windows closed at night due to noise from the street but it's what you expect for the location. The only other minor issue was the main bedroom could have had more electrical wall sockets for the fan, etc. But otherwise, everything was perfect!
4.0
The location has its pros and cons. Of course, it's close to a lot of trendy shops and restaurants, some of which were pretty affffordable. There was a small grocery store just outside the unit so that was pretty convenient.
Because it's in the center, you can't expect complete peace and quiet. Our unit was right next to the door of the whole apartment building. Some guests slammed the door at one in the morning or there were sounds of suitcases being dragged by panicking tourists who want to catch an early flight at 4 am. Around 7 am or 8 am, the garbage truck comes and the sound of breaking bottles awakens the whole neighborhood. There is just no getting away from it.

Marc was easy to communicate with.
The apartment is cute, pretty clean and nice living room with comfortable sofas.
First floor so not a lot of stairs.
The location of course is perfect and close to all good things.
Since it's the center of everything and there's a cafe just below, the apartment is noisy.
Also the bathroom isn't very nice - the shower and toilets are so tight together that the shower door opens on the toilets makes it very uncomfortable to enter the shower.
3.5
Location is good - many attractions by walking and 7-10 min to metro
Bathroom was good
Bed was good
No air conditioner but there was a ventilator that usually was enough
Owner was nice and explained well how to enter the room
The pictures in web were misleading. we had no leaving room, nor washing machine. The pictures seems to be of another units
The curtains of the windows were too little so did not cover well the window- can be somehow visible from the street + did not provide enough protection from street light
We missed additional towel for the bathroom floor. There was one that has become soaking wet after the days we have been there
I would add a broom and liquid soap
3.5
Cleanliness and location.
No TV
4.5
the location, the fact that it has 2 toilets room (we were with our grandchild), the cleanness of the little appartment
The 2 toilets are very small, I had to do acrobatics to get into the shower...
2.0
The location is absolutely perfect, very convenient to everything from transit to landmarks. Very walkable.
I can't in honesty recommend this place. Marc is very informative and available, the apartment has all the basics you might need, excepting some more linens would be good. However the street noise is appalling, I've never heard anything like it. Screaming, yelling, singing, top of the lungs shouting, courtyard door crashing heedlessly of other occupants at all hours. This goes on all night, for all three weekday nights we were there.
Just when they stop in the morning the construction across the street begins. This is obviously not marcs fault, but the noise basically ruined our Paris trip because we had almost no sleep.
