Avonvale Holiday Lodge

Loads of room considering there was 7 of us, convenient location (we were going to a wedding in Evesham) lots of kitchen supplies, bathroom well stocked, even had milk, tea coffee, sugar and cakes waiting for us when we got there.

Would have liked some cloths for the kitchen surfaces. Not a lot on site if you get there a bit later and the cafe is shut. You could really only use as a base, and would need a car. Shower was a bit complicated until you worked it out. Maybe there should be instructions?

Really good value for money l

The host Mark was very accommodating for our late check in. The lodges have all you need for a weekend away and really helped that there was all the basics you need e.g. milk, tea, coffee

We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed the open countryside views.

Property is a good size but for a party of six adults (youngest 18) an extra toilet would be an improvement. We all liked the open plan lounge / dining / kitchen arrangement. The bedroom arrangement was also good for our party. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk and biscuits were provided on arrival which we felt was a good welcoming gesture.

Shower fitting needs replacing as the shower head kept slipping out of place but we managed! A mirror in the bedroom would have been an improvement.

dirty needs updating furniture etc had to clean pits pan etc plus cooker before use outside was very slippery on decking

Spacious, tranquil cabin stay

Spacious cabin, very cosy and lovely cafe and antiques shop on site. Veranda on the cabin was fab and we weren't sure what time we'd be checking in so Mark left it all open for us to come and go.

Not really their fault but we wanted something closer to Cheltenham but there was nothing reasonable available. It would have been amazing if it had a hot tub! Also, one of the beds was a bit soft and flimsy where the others were much firner.

Fantastic place

Very nice host, fantastic lodge, very comfortable beds and everything you need for a nice, relaxing stay. We were sad to leave.

Lovely, clean friendly lodges in a great location

The lodges are so lovely and comfortable. We have a four year old and he loved the bunk beds! it’s excellent for young children as there is a field opposite the lodges which had tractors and on the other side of the field was a train track which kept our little boy entertained for hours. the playground is also really good for young kids. if you are looking for a relaxed self catering base to explore the area I would highly recommend Avondale Lodges.

There is a main road just behind the lodges which is fairly noisy but it didn’t particularly disturb us.

The lodges are stunning we have stayed in quiet a few on this site, situated not to far from evesham Town centre

The furniture in this lodge compared to the others on this site was old and bed was uncomfortable

Lovely stay

Have visited many times now, the surrounding area is peaceful & relaxing, lovely walks, cabin very comfortable

We had a free upgrade which was a wonderful cabin but just a bit noisy as the road is quite near to the cabin.

Great lodge/static clean tidy and good kitchen facilties and shower, TV good all round great plave :)

Walls paper thin as it was like a static caravan not one of the timber lodges hence you could hear everything and the trafiic but it didn't affect our stay! Wifi wasn't very good as using repeaters off the timber lodges to gain signal!

lovely location, ideal for visiting cotswold towns. very comfortable stay in Bramble lodge.

Everything needed for our stay was provided including a welcome pack which was a nice touch.

Although everything was functional the furniture could do with updating.

Staff were very helpful in sorting out access for a late arrival, cabin was clean spacious and had everything you need. Bedrooms were all furnished nicely with amazing pillows and duvets, very comfortable. Welcomed in with some cakes, biscuits and milk on arrival which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended

Fantastic home away from home!!!

comfortable,warm and clean.Fully equipped with all you needed for a great stay. Owners provided everything needed from coffee, tea milk etc to washing powder for the washing machine!!
