The best part was leaving.
Avoid this accommodation at all cost! I do not know how this place is rated so high. We had a nightmare of an experience that we still have not recovered from.
We arrived at the villa. Upon entering the cigarette smelling lounge we saw ashtrays full of Ash. (mind you, we had little children with us). The walls were covered in stains and smashed mosquitoes, one let out a big bloody stain.
We took towels and bedding with us as requested by the host and entered the bedrooms. The beds were DISGUSTING. Massive brown stains on yellowed pillows that were once white.
We walked to the staircase and were met by a dead cockroach on its back and cobwebs. Going up the stairs we dodged the fat dead flies laying on their back and were greeted with a big stain of dried blood from a mosquito, that easily could have been cleaned to save us the horror.
We approached the games room which was covered in a thick layer of dust, hand prints on the old chairs of someone having dragged their hand through the dust. (apparently from a sandstorm)
Two more dirty bedrooms with filthy bedding.
The top floor would have sent anyone into a coma. But I won't comment as "allegedly" the top floor is not part of the booking? Despite the booking apparently being for an entire villa?
The tiles in the pool were disgusting. The garden furniture completely stained. The whole property was unkept. The brother of the host Mohammed Kershah, said the property has not had a cleaner in a long time "due to covid"... How ABSURD?
We could not stay at the property as it was a health and safety concern especially having kids around. I tried to contact booking.com to find out the neighbourhood in King Mariout has no stable network signal. We were stranded as our ride had long left and the host Mohammed Kershah was unwilling to take accountability after claiming the house is clean as he was "just there on friday".

We enjoyed the privacy and quietness of the place, villa is well prepared with most facilities even with mosquito killers and a gardener comes to clean the pool. Very safe compound as well.

spacious
a lot of entertaining games for the whole family
Mosquitos are painful; despite the precautions taken by the host with electric shocks, don't forget to bring your mosquito repellents.

The property is huge and comfortable. Very calm because the wind outside is fresh and there are no neighbours around. The games prepared inside the house are so cool! Also the owner is super kind and helpful. I wish to go again someday
Just the mosquitoes because its near to a river maybe. Dont forget to bring mosquito repellent if you want to stay
