Superb

Well located between Port en Bessin and Arromanches, both with plenty of restaurants; also some good country walks from the door. Very comfortable accommodation and great to have access to the breakfast room at other times with its sofas and kitchen so we could have an evening self-catering. Two large, very friendly dogs around. Our hostess welcoming and helpful.

Plenty of hot water but showers rather difficult to use because there were no hooks to attach the shower head to. Everything else delightful and we would be happy to return.

Very nice B&B, good location for everything involving Dday, staff friendly and room very clean, and beds comfortable

Breakfast very disappointing, no hams or cheeses no croissants, pastries, no eggs, not even hard boiled, no butter available had to ask. As we don't eat cereal or yogurts it would have been nice to have other choices available Would have scored a 10 if not for the breakfast

Attractive comfortable farm b&B

Met all our expectations, the breakfast in particular was excellent and easily the best on our tour through northern France .well done. Nice country situation. Charming hostess.

The shower facilities were pretty basic and could be readily improved for a few euros.

A very beautiful place. Quiet, perfect for relaxing. Very comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Accessible terrace and kitchen that you can use during your stay. Friendly service. Very good location - if you have a car, you can easily reach all places near the beaches where the Allies landed.

lack of basic amenities(toilet roll, soap, tea towels, dish clothes) lack of basic equipment ( fans, bedside table, proper shower cracked plates, dirty cups and glasses) out of date/absent consumables ( coffee, tea, milk)

A friendly guesthose near Bayeux

A nice guesthouse in a very quiet rural area. The host is super friendly. Speaks good English. The common breakfast brought together the guests for a little talk. Good WIFI coverage. Friendly dogs :)

Our room lacked a table to sit down and work. The bathroom was a bit small and basic. The house may be a bit difficult to find.

Superb

A lovely home made into a B&B. A wonderful continental breakfast in the morning and a kitchen and living area where we could prep our own meals. Our 20 month old son had a great time looking at the chickens, ducks, dogs, and tractors! Highly recommend!

Highly recommended accommodation close to the D-day beaches

Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice and quiet environment. Kind and friendly host with a good English, who also gave us advice on where to spend our evening. Breakfast was also great with many local food.

We used B&B Ferme De La Tourelle as a base for a 7 day WW2, D-Day museum trip.

From the pictures we expected to find a remote housing with lots of nature around it, older building with their own story to tell and easy access to even more stories. And we where not disappointed. Very comfortable rooms, with good beds. Good and plenty breakfast served with a smile,- and lots of butter :) The old farmhouse, originally given to a farmer from the abbey, has been in the family for three generations, and the landlady is eager to tell about it and what they do for a living today, also keen on giving tips to what might be interesting to see. Definitely worth a visit!

Rural location and great for cycling to and around Bayeux. Hostess was charming and provides a super breakfast in the communal kitchen.

Very nice stay at the countryside

The location was beautiful! Perfect setting on the French countryside. The host was very lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. It was a great and practical stay during our time traveling through Normandy, most of the tourist attractions are close by.

Fantastic place to spend the night

Location is very good, minutes away from the road usually taken by tourist visiting this area. The cosiness of the place, warm atmosphere, fantastic breakfast with plenty of home-made jams to try. Kids enjoyed open space after couple of nights in larger towns and more cramped hotel rooms.
