Great value for money. Room is spacious. Water pressure is great. We stayed in the two bedroom villa, it has a bathtub and a little pond and fountain in the bathroom. The beds are comfortable. The air-conditioning made us feel cool and dry inside. There is also a balcony with a table and chairs, so we enjoyed the beautiful view while we were having dinner outside. The garden is pretty. The view of the field is stunning. You can see some rice fields and coconut trees. We saw so many frogs at different life stages, that is very interesting! We also saw several fire flies when we were sitting at the balcony at night. We can see so many stars at night!! We can also see sunrise from the balcony as well!! Walk distance to the rice terrace and the coffee plantation. Very nice owner and the staff. They did laundry at a very low price for us. The clothes came back supper clean and tidy. Also, I love the pancake! It's so yummy! Thank you for the good service. We will definitely come back next time in Ubud😊
Just wish we could have some sort of curtains to cover the sunshine over the breakfast on the balcony, like our neighbour.

The view of green rice paddies and coconut trees in the green valley was postcard quality from our balcony and from the pool. The environment was so peaceful we decided to take less excursions and stay at the villa most days.
The food options at the villa were more local than we're used to. There were no other restaurant options within walking distance.

I loved the hospitality of the staff especially Mario! All of the staff were extremely friendly and extremely resourceful! They helped us with all of our transfers and tours so we did not have to worry about a thing. We loved being very secluded from all of the craziness in Ubud and enjoyed the view to the rice terraces from our room a lot.
Nothing I didn’t like - this property is located inside a rice terrace / forest so expect a lot of bugs, small animals like frogs, etc.

Lots of steps into apartments … not accessible with heavy luggage

Amazing view for some quiet moments and wonderful for starting to visit the rice terasses.
Villas have a unique wooden style
Breakfast served on balcony was very comfortable and a very nice experience.
Water fountains (in outdoor bath and next to balcony) could be shut off which was perfect for the night. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The toilet looked dirty but it was only the design.
Mosquito net got some dirty spots and wholes, could be replaced.
Due to the all wooden style, the bed was creaking profusely so simply turning around woke us a couple of times.

The large family cottage is wonderful, with a great view from the terrace. The beds are good, the open bathroom is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they serve breakfast at your terrace. They have a small restaurant for lunch and dinner, the food is good. The location is great, just 3 mins walk from the entrance of the rice terraces. Very quiet area.
It takes only 20-30 mins by taxi to go to Ubud (depending on the traffic). We would stay here again.

Locely place to calm down. In the middle of jungle. You hace a nice view with rice paddles and coconut trees from balcony
Room is spacious and modern. The prívate Bathroom is openair. It was nice experience with nature. You can hear only the voice of birds and insects.
Staff is so kind. They have drivers that you can make day tour to see important sights. Our driver Mario was perfect
A little bit far away from the restaurants or cafes. But they always take you to restaurants with their drivers if you want.

Our stay was excellent. The nature is around is fantastic, you are completely surrounded by greenery. Very calm and relaxing place to enjoy with the rice paddle nearby. Mario at the hotel run to all our needs, special thanks to him
Nothing, maybe breakfast can be improved a bit with a healthy oat & fruit bowl option

Lovely and peaceful with beautiful view of rice terraces. Very agreeable staff and all requests were met. It was an easy walk to the rice terraces trekking.
Maybe there could be an option for different pillow thickness. They were very high and made it difficult to sleep so we went without.

We stayed at Villa wedang for two nights. The place is as wonderful as the people who work there. Darma picked us up from the airport and the next day he drove us around Bali with him all day. We felt at home. The villa is located near the rice terraces of tegalalang, within walking distance. You can order food with delivery we used Gojek. Breakfast at the villa is served on the balcony and the banana pancakes sound delicious! I really recommend staying at this place for those looking for a nature experience away from the chaotic Ubud. The owner gives the possibility of private tours with him, I recommend those too because they are exclusive and allow you to see places away from the tourist bedlam.

The accommodation is located within 2 mins walking distance from the Tegalalang rice terraces, in a breathtaking environment. It us also located centrally in Bali, which means all visiting sites are easier to reach. It's quiet, away from the hustle of Ubud, which means you can wake up in the morning listening to jungle noises.
The villas look great, spacious with very comfortable beds. Fabulous breakfast served on the patio of your villa, overlooking the jungle and rice fields. You have a choice of eggs with toast and jam, pancakes, rice or noodles, all with a selection of fruits and really good coffee or tea.
The staff is so friendly, always there to help. They also sorted our pick up and drop off from the airport and a car and driver to take us on sightseeing trips. We strongly recommend you ask for Wayan as your driver - he is the kindest, friendliest person. He will make you feel welcomed, give you information and advice, and we really couldn't fault him - absolutely fantastic.

swimming pool and spacious rooms. Rooms are bigger than I expected. booked two rooms for family of 6(including 2 toddlers).I think family room is big enough to accommodate 6 people. two super single beds and one king size bed in family room.
Staffs are friendly and helpful.
If you like nature, this is the place for you.
If not, choose somewhere near central Ubud.

perfect view from the pool
quiet accomodation
very nice staff
The only critique from us was the price. For this price we did have other accomodations with a very luxurious breakfast. And we did have other accomodations with similar view for have the price.
After all, we did enjoy the stay, but the price was a little too high for Bali. It might be because it was Tegallalang.

Wonderful place - all the houses are located on a slope in the middle of rice paddies. The place is extremely wee-kept, spotlessly clean. Every house has a balcony. The staff was the best in the world and, on top of that, they make delicious breakfasts every morning.

The best hotel in Bali during our trip ! Clean and Spacious room with a wonderful view on the jungle and the rice fields. 10 steps down and we were swimming in a nice pool with the same view. In addition of that, delicious breakfast served on the room terrace just in front of the rice fields.
But above all, what I will remember first is the incredible kindness of the owner and his personal, always there to help you.
Don’t miss this wonderful place.

I had a very warm welcome and I felt a special guest, part of the family. The room and the outdoors are very clean, the people are so kind and always smiling. I was traveling alone and Mario came talking to me, making sure I was having a good experience and he even organized massage for me! I already had a guide but in case it is something Mario can do. Homemade breakfast is delicious. The area is very quiet and it is beautiful to wake up in such a paradise! Very close to Tegallalang I wish I could have stayed more, I will come back!
Dinner not available at the Villa but it is not a problem! There is a good restaurant nearby that comes pick up guest or Mario drives guests there.

Quite location near to rice terraces in Tegallalang. Beautifully view to rain forest and rice fields from the pool and our cottage. We can have breakfast on terrace of our cottage. I loved outside shower in bathroom. Staff can arrange laundry. Perfect.

Come out from the small road this villa is on and turn right, not left towards the Ubud chaos. There are restaurants and things to see there without fighting traffic and crowds, lovely vegetarian restaurant Pondok Murni across from rice paddy walks, good views and those swings that are popular now. Villa is quiet, nice bathroom, staff are helpful, breakfast is good. You cannot walk out of here and go tot the shops or get a massage, that is why we came for the peace and serene views. Pool is lovely, you will more than likely have it to yourself as there are only four Villas.
If you are arriving late here you cannot get food at the villa , you have to order take away, the staff will help you organise this on the phone and it is delivered.

This is the second time I stay in this incredible place. It has its magical side and energy. I was right when I saw my family feeling the same and didnt want to leave :D
The staff is so friendly and helpful. This place is the diamond I found around Ubud to be immersed in nature!

It was beautiful facility and view on the balcony. Its walking distance to the rice terraces. Staff was overly attentive. Breakfast brought straight to the room was a nice surprise. And price was inexpensive for it in my opinion.
The entire house was shakey/creaky, so going as a couple can make more noise than you want. The floors were also overly waxed and slippery. I nearly fell a few times. The road to get there is extremely steep and full of pot holes. The day we went was raining while on a scooter so it was quite challenging. And the hotel itself has many steps so not the best if you have mobility issues. Overall I would still stay again. But you should take these things into consideration when choosing if its right for you.

We loved everything! We planned to stay for 3 days but we decided to stay 3 days longer! Room is beautiful and very clean, view from the terrace to rice and palm trees is breathtaking…. People extremely nice and helps you very much! Place is extremely quiet and is perfect for relax! Breakfast really delicious too! Many options for every eater!
