Zentrale Lage

We found the location of the apartment perfect: right in the middle of Saas Fee with easy walking access to lifts, shops, restaurants. There was a lot of storage space and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the patio as well. The apartment was nicely decorated, as in the photo’s. The Summer Saastal-card is provided with this apartment which allowed us to explore the area and mountains.

Location was great. Decor was nice. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well-equipped. Old, wooden toys for kids to play with. Surprisingly spacious for an old chalet despite low ceilings.
If you are taller than 174cm (5'8") then be prepared to bump your head in all the doorways. This house was not designed / renovated with tall people in mind.
PETS misunderstanding: The interaction with host was either robotic/lengthy template like, or rather cold. We arrived with 2 dogs, and in the ad online it said "Pets Allowed" but lost someplace else in the ad, it said we needed to get permission in advance to bring pets. As such, the host (who we never met), wrote us a somewhat abrasive email demanding that we pay a premium immediately, or that his janitor would come and remove the dogs forcefully. Somewhat strange, we thought, and we paid within minutes (by wire transfer and not through Bookings.com).
Upon arrival, we immediately informed the person who gave us the code to the apartment that we had 2 dogs, and we thought that person was the host (he was not). A simple phone call from the host would have been more hospitable. Furthermore, adding a sentence in the automated booking email regarding Pets would have avoided this unpleasant feeling.

The owner immediately answered our call when we needed a little guidance to find the box. Having the box meant we could all come and go as we pleased. Very short walk to slopes with the option to hire lockers for the lazy crew (which included us). This property is full of alpine charm, very clean, clearly loved and will make your stay a little bit more special.

The 2 bedroom flat of Alte Post is beautifully designed, super well equipped and located at the center of the village. Perfect for a family stay.

Excellent location in the heart of the village. Loved sitting on the balcony soaking in the sun and the mountain & street views. The apartment is a wonderful mix of old and new - beautifully decorated. Will definitely stay here again.
That we had to leave. 😢

Overall great stay. We loved the location and the property is excellent.
It was very warm so we had to open windows and that lets in lots of noise as there was a group of drunks outside. Nothing the owner can do but I could see it being difficult to sleep during peak summer season. It might be nice to offer A/C as an option during the summer.

Location is perfect. Very cosy and decorated with taste. Really feel like a chalet atmosphere. All needed amenities and design is well thought. Family members from young children to elderly members could find their space and simply this place pleased everyone. Thank you Rainer.
