This was a beautiful, well located property .Well equipped and tastefully furnished. We enjoyed the short walk into the village, and watching the ferries come and go. We hope to return next year if we are both still in good health.

We really enjoyed our 9-night stay here in this beautiful, spacious apartment. Wonderful views, with beach right across the road and a fantastic park/playground up the hill, with shops/cafes nearby. There are a few minor things that could be improved, but nothing that we couldn't work around or which impacted our overall enjoyment. Would certainly recommend it to anyone who can afford it. Location is brilliant. Only one night was really noisy with the restaurant downstairs, but it died down soon after 10.30pm. A lot of light comes through in the bedrooms, even with the blinds down, which is not great if you have young kids you need to get to bed early, but was really only a problem on the noisy night as the two together kept them up a bit. Didn't try the BBQ, but the gas stove worked well. The kitchen utensils aren't the best if you love to cook - for example, the knives are a little blunt, there's no garlic press and the grater was rusty. The comms with the agent/office was fantastic however - although we didn't get a garlic press, a fantastic new grater did appear within a day/so after I mentioned it to them. A few of the lights weren't working properly, and one of the toilets didn't always flush properly, but I asked them to look into fixing these after our stay as I really didn't want tradies traipsing through while we were trying to enjoy our holiday. Was also a bit confusing on arrival - the way the ad reads, you think you get a double car spot, but it's only one car spot. If you're looking for the bins, it's in the opposite car park. Laundry is a combined washer/dryer and seemed to work well. Our kids really loved the spa. Some of the cushion covers look like they could do with replacement, but the towels & sheets were pristine, the place was very clean and easy to keep clean too. It was tricky finding spare items as there are a lot of cupboards in the place, but we managed to find everything we needed eventually. The air con worked well on the one day we needed it. Didn't try the fireplace, but it looked like something lovely and cosy to try in colder months. Hope this review is helpful to anyone else thinking of staying here. Highly recommend.

GREAT APARTMENT, SHAME ABOUT SCHOOLIES WEEK
GREAT APARTMENT, SHAME ABOUT SCHOOLIES WEEK
The apartment was as advertised. very clean, spacious and comfortable. A beautiful view of the bay from the expansive front verandah. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Unfortunately we were there during schoolies week. There were large gatherings of very noisy teenagers, loud music and hotted up cars just below us and across the road in the park. These gatherings took place between 8pm and around 2am on the both nights we were there. Dissapointingly there were no police to be seen to keep them under control. It was very difficult to get a good night's sleep. This spoilt our experience.
