Never again (except if I have masochistic tendencies or suffering from severe amnesia)

Clean and spacious house + great view. But then the trouble, which undermines every kind of positive feeling this place might potentially have given me and nullifies the value of even the most beautiful view, began. See below.

1. Clogged shower drain. 2. At one point the host told us that the neighbours had complained about our kids making too much noise. We weren't told what exactly was the main cause of disturbance so we couldn't instruct our kids on what they should specifically avoid doing (moving chairs, playing, shouting, ?). It's impossible for 5 kids whose every move cannot be supervised to be sufficiently quiet, particularly when the complaint is general ("noise"); if we don't know what constitutes the main issue we can't guarantee eliminating it. Nonetheless we respected the demand and tried to be as quiet as possible, now in a cramped state of constant worry, partially ruining what were supposed to be carefree holidays. It became obvious that from that point on, regardless our demonstration of goodwill and efforts to minimize the noise, we gained the reputation of the troublesome and noisy family in the host's eyes. The fact that he appeared to be on good terms with the complaining neighbours didn't exactly help our cause either. This was confirmed by his behaviour at checkout. After loading our belongings into the car, I returned to the house to retrieve some water bottles I forgot in the freezer (past checkout time). One bottle had already been emptied in the sink. He told me he did this because he had found that bottle open. Perhaps it wasn't fully closed and thus leaking, but he didn't elaborate further. When I tried to inquire he dismissed me by just saying 'άντε γειά!', which in this context means 'get lost'. It's like 'I got your money now, it's past checkout time and now I'm fully justified to treat you as an intruder and a piece of garbage, especially because I decided to dislike you with your noise and your kids'. I've stayed in many places over the years, but this irrational and insulting conduct, void of any consideration, is shockingly unprecedented.

Confortable for families with children, quite area, spacious and last, but no least, the view which made you dream with

The great view, very close to the town of Nydri, comfortable.

It needed some curtains/awning for the kitchen and balcony of the living room, in the afternoon the sun was coming right in their direction and it was very hot inside, even with the air conditioning. Also, some insect protection to all the windows weren’t bad.

Disrespectful owners and apartment lacking the minimum amenities.

The apartment was big enough for a family of four

The house is too far from center and roads are narrow. We arrived on time and called the owners many times but no one answered. There was no one to meet us and give us the keys. I had to dig out another number from booking and called them thank God they answered. The owners are also ungenerous: no shower gel ( first time to ever happen in Greece), not enough toilet roll papers, no trash in the kitchen or the rooms, only in bathrooms and the rest you figure it out. Everything was acceptable and we said nothing until it was time for checkout. I asked one of the owners (Maria) for late checkout but she accepted our leave at 10:30 instead of 10. Mr George (the other owner I suppose)came at 09:50 and despite me telling him the agreed time, he angrily stormed into the apartment and pointed at the note at the door and kicked us out telling us to leave. This disrespectful and shameful treatment triggered me to write this review. The way we got treated at arrival and especially at check out is not acceptable in any way. They have a lot to work on especially their manners and attitude.

The view and apartment are nice

Sent a message on Sunday that we are arriving Sunday morning early and he didnt reply. If there is no reception the host should contact the tenants before to ask them at what time they are arriving. We arrived at 6.30am and yes i was calling him early but we were stranded outside and he was shouting at me and saying are you kidding me calling me at this time? He said not before 9am even to leave the luggages there. Check in was supposed to be at 1pm and he told us 2pm. Check out was was supposed to be at 12 but he told us 10am. The luggages he told them to leave them under the stairs outside, anyway could take them from there. When he met us at 2pm for check in he was shouting at us and saying that if we are loud he will kick us out. We maltese are normally a bit loud unintentially but one may correct someone in a good manner not like that.

Very good

The property is situated on a hill, you can see Nydri from above and the sea. Also there is a big terrace that you can enjoy for 8+ people if needed. Roomy living room, big kitchen which is fully stacked. About 30 minutes away from Lefkada town, 45 minutes away from Vasiliki.

The doors were quite noisy, I guess something can be done to grease them a bit. Also the shower was leaking water, it needs to be fixed; we always had a pool in the bathroom after showering. No keys in the bathrooms. Not the easiest access road to reach the property.

I reserved for 5 people and was only provided 4 pillows. I called the owner and he brought me a pillow. I asked about hand soap and and hand towels and I was I formed that the the property does not provide hand soap for the bathroom or any hand towels for the kitchen or bathroom. Limited supply on kitchen items.

Very good

Good value for big group of friends or family. The apartments has a really nice view over the Nidri port,are spacious and has everything you need. The only thing that needs to be considered are the beds and the pillows - the mattresses are not confortable at all and the pillows are hard as a rock.

Great spot on top of Nydri

Everything was great. The host was friendly, the view was amazing. The place was comfortable, spacious and clean. Great value for money accommodation for a group of friends or a large family.

Pillows were too hard but this is a personal preference.

Exceptional

The villa is beautiful - spacious, clean, there were all amenities. Huge veranda with beautiful views of the bay and the city. Everything is done without compromise. The owners were kind and responsive, and check-in and check-out were as easy as possible. I strongly recommend!

Perfect accomodation on an amazing island

The appartment was super comfortable, and luxurious with all necessary facilities. Nidri town was just 5 minutes with the car where you could do groceries, eat dinner or walk by the beach. Our host Antonis and his father Giorgos were very friendly and helped us with anything we needed as renting a car and choosing a day cruise. Thanks Antonis, we will definitely come back.

No negative points, everything was perfect.
