Agréable mais l’hygiène est déplorable.

Le personnel était accueillant. Le riad est également le lieu de vie de la famille donc typique. L’emplacement est bien, le riad est collé à la kasbah de Glaoui. Un parking privé est disponible sur place. L’extérieur verdoyant, avec les tortues, est agréable. Le repas sur réservation est bon.

Le WC était très sale. L’hygiène de la salle d’eau est inexistante. Ce point ne doit pas être négligé, il faut remédier impérativement à ce problème.

Excellent service-price ratio

For people making a road trip through Morocco this is the right place for an overnight stay south of the Altas mountains. The property is extraordinary with a medieval kashba connected to the square-shaped hotel with inside-garden. The service by a super-nice team/family is excellent, serving the best tajine we have tasted during our trip and in for an interesting conversation.

Pleasant surprise and pleasant stay

We had an exceptional home cooked lamb tajine for dinner followed by unique saffron ice cream with olive oil. The desert was delicious. The portions were generous and they even offered us more meat if we had wanted to. It was the best meal we had during our two weeks stay in Morocco. The location suited us perfectly as it was off the main road but on the way to Ouarzazate. Our hosts, two brothers Said and Omar were very friendly and so welcoming. No airs nor pretentions. The guest house was next to an old kasbah previously owned by their family. The room was simple but comfortable. We were the only guests on that particular day so it was very calm. It was truly a pleasant stay for us.

What an experience ! To stay in a huge kasba and being recived as a family member. Dinner was a gastronomic experience, and service were excellent. We stay here for a night while in our road trip ! Couldn't ask for better in the Safran area ;).

fantastic hospitality in the shadows of an authentic Kasbah

we loved our stay here! we arrived very late after a long trip from the airport and that wasn’t a problem at all. clean big rooms and hot showers. waking up in the shadows of the old Kasbah was magical. such a great value place to stay, the breakfast was delicious while we enjoyed some winter sun on the terrace. we had some communication issues with our next destination and they kindly helped us to sort it out. highly recommended!

The place is great. A magnific rehabiltated Kasbah. The inside garden is supreme, so good to chill. The people is very kind and welcoming, everyone smiles all the time. The only thing that i regret is to have slept only one night there. Would have stayed a whole week!! I extremely recommend It.

Is a lovely Kasba with a cute garden with pomegranate, grapes and land turtles. Rooms are clean and hot water and correct bathroom. The staff (Omar and Saïd) are exceptional and a very friendly treatment. Really good food. I recomend it to everyone who is in Taliouine.

It was a calm and nice hotel, next to the old kasbah, owned by the family. Good wifi, very good dinner and hot water in the tab. Also a nice owner. Perfect with the water boiler on the room, so we could drink tea and coffee when we wanted.

It should be nice with something (bigger) to put the luggege on. That small stool does not make it for a bigger bag, and have to have the luggage on the floor, which is difficult when you get older... Otherwise well equipped room.

It was so peaceful! After 3 weeks on the road we were bushed and this was perfect. I just sat and watched the tortoises wander around. The facilities look basic, but it was the best shower we had in Morocco !

Amazing stay here. The riad is absolutely stunning and welcomes you with a big "wow effect". Everything around here is nicely decorated and having tea, breakfast and dinner in the leafy courtyard is simply unmissable. The hosts are a nice, smiling family with some serious cooking skills. We had a great dinner and could hardly move for how full we were. The neighbourhood is super quite and perfect for a nice sunset stroll around the abandoned kasbah.

The family that runs this guesthouse is incredibly friendly and welcoming. facilities were spacious and comfortable. we stayed on a cold November night and the blankets and heater provided kept us toasty. Omar’s cooking is phenomenal! All courses featured saffron integrated into flavorful Moroccan dishes. Best food we had in Morocco!

The host Omar was very welcoming and hospitality was excellent. It was a fantastic place to chill out, relax and listen to the birdsong in the courtyard. We would definately return and would have liked to stay longer.
