Location
The staff weren’t overly welcoming or friendly and the price we paid didn’t match expectations.
4.3
Schönes großes Zimmer, sehr schöne Ausstattung, sehr gute Lage.
Bei einem Hotel in dieser Kategorie sollte der Parkplatz inklusive sein.
4.3
Nicely furnished and equipped room
There was an old bottle cap on table. The shower temperature was difficult to control.
4.3
Very comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities, pleasant staff, good location for everything.
Areas of the hotel were tired, a bit messy, it wasn't as polished as many of the premium hotels I have stay at. No water in rooms. Staff made some odd assumptions about myself and friends I was travelling with - which was slightly odd/embarrassing.
4.3
Easy to check in and out, very comfortable rooms, helpful staff and excellent room service.
All good no problems.
4.3
absolutely nothing in the room. No minibar, coffee, tea,
milk, knives and forks, cups etc etc. Zero, Nada, Nothing.
Had to ask for a bottom water. I am absolutely stunned as it was a very highly rated international hotel.

Super comfy beds and lovely rain shower
We unfortunately were made to wait 2 hours in the lobby as our room was not ready at check in. The day manager was apologetic and gave us 2 drink vouchers to apologise. When we finally got to our room we discovered there was no bed for my child and I had requested one when booking. I phoned down to reception and one was brought up. To be honest it would have been safer for my child to sleep on the floor as the bed kept closing when we sat on it. We didn’t mind though until we got a phone call to our room to say we will be charged an extra $80 a night for the bed. I had to go back down to reception to provide evidence of my booking that said my child will stay free at this accommodation and the night duty manager said that doesn’t include the cost of the bed and labour of putting the bed up and there was a shortage of beds in the hotel so that all needs to be considered. A Shortage of beds should really not be the guests problem especially when that is what they have requested. We were told that we needed to take the problem up with bookings.com.After lots of arguments and the night manager making everything to be my problem including the 2 hour wait for our room. Apparently us being told check in is at 2pm meant our room could possibly be ready from 2pm but most probably won’t be. Our fault for checking in on time. We were given another 2 drink vouchers and the fee for the lawsuit/bed was taken off our room.
We did not use the drink voucher as I just wanted to get out the hotel at this stage.

The two French speaking young men fronting the strangely empty hotel! so kind, utterly impeccable manners.
…there was absolutely nothing in the room to drink, the minibar was empty as was the rest of that area. Also no
glasses, crockery or cups and saucers. Zero. We were told to ask for water, which I did but wasn’t given any. It’s a high class hotel and I
paid good money to stay. It’s bizzare.
This is NOT what you expect anywhere ….except a room
in the YMCA.
4.3
We like the ambience and sophisticated decor of the rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Maybe a few more coffee pods would be nice? Also two robes rather than just one?
4.3

Room and bathroom were nice, if a bit small. The gym was good and the staff were friendly.
The breakfast was not as good as I would expect for a 5* hotel in a food focused city but it was fine and the coffee was good.
4.3
Everything was amazing. Staff members especially. They are extremely helpful and will do everything in their power to help.

The hotel itself is modern, clean, the rooms are a decent size and well maintained.
The location is not far from city center. The garden view overlooks the greenery of Wellington and the Bolton Street Memorial Park.
The staff (not all) would benefit from further training.
There was lack of attention to detail, For example: clearing your table without confirming if you had finished, only because I went to get buffet breakfast whilst my full cup of coffee was still sitting at the table. Not placing water bottles in the room without having to call room service for them. Infact whilst I was going out to explore Wellington for a full day I asked concierge for a bottle of water and was blatantly refused saying they are going plastic free. Exactly a day prior though they brought multiple plastic bottles to my room. Although becoming plastic free is a good move, they had glass bottles which could have been provided instead. Doesn't even have to be complimentary. Just charge for them.

The 2 tiny plastic pots of UHT milk. why not give us enough fresh milk for a coffee each ? This is New Zealand after all - no shortage of the white stuff.
4.3
stylish interior design
Far from restaurants and cafes and not a good management at breakfast restaurant.
