Our recent stay at Anisa's place in Tirana offered a mix of warm hospitality and some challenges that impacted our comfort. Here’s a detailed account of our experience:
What We Loved:
Hospitality: Anisa and her aunt were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Their readiness to assist made a significant difference.
Location: The house is conveniently located a mere 10-minute drive from the city center, easy to find and access.
Bathroom Space: The bathroom was spacious, which is always appreciated in any accommodation.
Areas for Improvement:
Bedding: While the house appeared clean, the linens felt overused and retained a strong scent of detergent, suggesting they might benefit from an update.
Heating: Upon arrival, we found the house to be very cold. The air conditioning struggled to warm the space adequately, which was a bit uncomfortable during our stay.
Bathroom Cleanliness: The bathroom, despite being spacious, was not as clean as we expected and was even colder than the rest of the house.
Parking: We were aware there was no designated parking, but finding street parking was more challenging than anticipated due to high traffic, which was not mentioned beforehand.
In summary, while the hospitality we received was heartwarming, and the location convenient, the physical comforts of the home, such as heating, bedding, and cleanliness, could see some improvement. Addressing these issues would make this a stellar choice for visitors to Tirana looking for a homey and comfortable experience.
We hope this feedback is helpful for Anisa to make future stays even more pleasant and for potential guests to know what to expect.

Nice room within walking distance to the Tirana international bus lot. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning very strong for the current heat wave. Refrigerator and small dining table nice extras that would make this a nice place for longer stays.
The facilities have recently been remodeled and while the smells of floor varnish weren't overpowering, the floor was still semi-wet and sticky if walking barefoot. I also did not appreciate that the long-term tenant in the room next door started banging around at 6am with the washing machine outside my door and the machine was in use the entire day. Also when preparing to leave the following day for a 6am bus, turning on the light blew a fuse for the entire building; understandable with ACs in over-drive. Thankfully I had packed the night before and used my phone flashlight to finish before leaving.

In reality this is a big apartment with common kitchen and separated room + bathroom. But if you stay for several nights, this is not the issue. We almost didn’t see people from other rooms.
Not far from bus station, so if you came from other country and need to sleep somewhere for 1 night, it’s a great place. Host is nice lady, let us have earlier checkin, helped with ordering the taxi.
Near the house you can find several supermarkets and markets with fresh fruits / vegetables. Inside the house you can find everything for short staying: can cook, take a shower, sleep on the comfortable bed.
It’s not easy to find it. It took some time to come there, especially with luggage - take the taxi! Road is not so good from the bus station.
I had to ask worker in pizzeria about location of the shop of aunt of owner.

Very quiet and peaceful place, I like the location - groceries and different coffee shops and restaurants are nearby. The host was very kind and always in touch
Too dark in the room, very noisy air conditioner, but it’s not a problem. Small kitchen in the hall, so I recommend this place for fraying max for 2-3 nights

The host was very helpful. The host allowed us to leave our luggages outside the rooms. Thanks
Check-in time at night the room haven't ready yet
We couldn't sleep well because the room was so cold without heating

People were friendly
The place might seem sunny and pretty in the pictures but it is not. The walls are thin and you can hear a lot outside of the room. Some stuff are broken, as well. You can get better deals for the same price. It is a bearable place to stay for just one night but i think the owners need to invest more and make the place cozy and comfortable.

For the price it was okay. Not close to city centre, but with bus or taxi it's managable.
Bed is comfortable, bathroom is fine. Host's uncle was very kind and polite (he gave us the keys), also the host was very helpful via massages!
No naturale light. not the cleanest room.

Close to the bus station
No privacy. Other people in the next room using the same kitchen and front door all the time. Big disadvantage of BOOKING.COM is they do not show which properties offer privacy and at which you would be bothered by someone all the time. Shame on BOOKING.COM; Also the room was under stairs. The edge was over the bed. I am tall and I hit my head badly 2 times.

The place is better them the pictures!
Very comfy, organized and new. It was easy to check in and we were very welcome.
The bed is pretty good and the kitchen even it a sharing place it was super ok to use.
The place where is located is great, lot of markets and good restaurants to have meal.
The best part is that is really close to the bus station.
