My husband and I stayed here in March - mid April. We give this home a 5 Star rating for cleanliness, a very comfortable King bed with nice quality sheets, and just a nice homey feel. The location was great and very close for spending time at the Port Charlotte beach park. Where there was a heated pool and a very nice clean sandy beach to spend your time at. The neighborhood was very quiet even though it was on a main street for going to the main road Tamiami Trail. Which is where all the grocery and shopping needs are close and handy. Even though it was a well traveled street it was very quiet inside the home and we very seldom ever heard any road noise. We spent a lot of time relaxing and eating our meals in the screened in porch area everyday. The surrounding neighborhood was great for morning and evening walks, we always felt very safe. We found that the residents in the area as we walked to be very friendly and we even visited with many of them on our daily walks. Having the two bathrooms was great and convenient! There were plenty of nice quality towels to use too. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic needs. Lou, the owner even purchased both a new smoothie blender and a rice cooker for our use when I asked if they would be available prior to our stay. She was very prompt and courteous to reply to any of our questions very quickly. Our stay was very comfortable with no issues and we would highly recommend anyone to stay in this home.

This is the perfect size home to stay in for a vacation. Extremely clean, with every amenity possible and a great location near the local beach, with plenty of shopping nearby as well as Fisherman’s Wharf and the huge farmers market held on Saturday in Punta Gorda.

This VRBO home was perfect for our stay. Ample space, comfortable furniture and bedding, plus the use of the garage for our vehicle was fantastic. Nice quiet neighborhood, with a very nice friendly neighbor we were able to interact with. Virtually minutes away from shopping, restaurants and sight seeing. Our Hosts were great too! Easy to contact AND very responsive to any questions or concerns we may have had. We are definitely keeping this home on our list for future travel endeavors in Florida!!!

The place we stayed April 12-19 was very clean and quaint. It was definitely equipped with everything and anything for our use and location was good. We had excellent experience with Lou returning messages & calling us promptly & resolving a question we had. All was really GREAT. A BIG thank you to Lou for our stay @ rental home. Julie & Mike H

Thank you Lou for the great communication. We appreciated having beach chairs for Port Charlotte beach park, which was a quick 3 min drive down the street. House was clean, loved having the washer/dryer available, along with toiletries, kitchen items, and the lanai was wonderful for our morning coffee or evening cocktails. Close to shopping, restaurants and grocery, which was nice. I’m glad your house survived the hurricanes- a lot of folks are still rebuilding. Hershey’s ice cream shoppe a few miles up on 41 (Tamiami Trail) is amazing. FYI for guests, you do need to pay to park (via smart phone) at Port Charlotte Beach Park but it’s only about $1/hour. And they are monitoring it. Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda was a convenient 15 min drive, Thanks Lou - we truly enjoyed our stay.

Pictures don't do justice to this beautiful home. You can relax in the sunshine or walk by the beach go shopping or eat great food. As the owners are very responsive to any problems that you may have. We definitely plan to go back.

This house was 5 minutes from where my husband was working. Nice neighborhood. This was a work visit to Port Charlotte so we really didn’t get to sight see or go to beach. If we were in this area again we would love to stay here.

We wanted to escape the harsh Minnesota weather. Brought our bikes and biked the neighborhood and enjoyed Charlotte beach (within walking distance) every day. We are coming back for an extended stay next year!!

We came to Port Charlotte to meet with a realtor and builders for the Port Charlotte area, and to visit family in Punta Gorda. The location was perfect for both. We were conveniently located to everything. The house was loaded with everything we needed. The temperature during the week was cold, but the temperature in the house was perfect. We had absolutely no problems with the house. We did not have to contact the owners for anything.

A lovely property in a great location. We visited Siesta Key, Venice Beach and Gasparilla State Park. Punta Gordy is very close by. The Nature Center is definitely worth a visit with lunch following at Fisherman’s Village. We had a great time!

House was exactly as advertised, and rooms were more spacious than expected. Double sliding doors open the living room up to the lanai. Easy walk to the Port Charlotte Beach Park and its pier for sunsets. Harbor Blvd is a fairly quiet street that intersects Tamiami Blvd for shops and restaurants. I’d definitely rent this house again.

This was our first experience with Vrbo and I am so glad it was! The property was great. It was clean and had literally anything you could want or might have forgotten, down to beach chairs, pool noodles, and even sunburn relief gel. The location was less than a mile from Port Charlotte Beach Park and the pool. There's a long pier where we spotted a couple of dolphins at sunset. Lou was PHENOMENAL! He left suggestions for nearby restaurants and other places to go (we HIGHLY recommend the ice cream place! ). We made a trip to Gasparilla Island State Park, about a half hour away, to tour the lighthouse museum and swim in what was absolutely the clearest, most beautiful water I had ever seen. Lou also responded immediately to any and every question we had while we were there. We will definitely be using Vrbo again and I can only hope other hosts prove to be as wonderful as Lou!
