It is a very good hotel. The area is quiet and located close to the Autobahn. The room was clean, large, and well-equipped. The restaurant had a wide variety of food for dinner and breakfast. The staff was helpful for fast check-in and out. This is a very good hotel, I recommend the stay.
I have no negative comments.

I am currently on a project in Deggendorf and keep trying different accommodations all around the area. Buchners was recommended for its top-rated restaurant, which is actually in the next family and run by the same family. The hotel is nicely styled and furnished, a pleasant experience compared to the usual more rustic charm of some of the other places around.
The real kicker ist the restaurant. It might not have the star the other restaurant in the family carries, but the food is easily on par.
Arrived late, it was cold and rainy. The kitchen offered to whip something up to get me in a better mood. After a very nice starter of Beef Tartare came a Risotto w seafood. Incredible. Very good. The power is strong in both the brothers running the restaurants for the family.
Will need to go there again with my spouse to share with her the experience as well as the nice accommodation.
The only little piece of advice would be to place the cleaning and towel trolleys away from the pathway between elevator and restaurant. It kind of confuses the impression of a well styled place

The restaurant was very good. Excellent I'd say.

The hotel staff was very friendly
It was verry warm, and there was no air condioners or fan. Could not leave the window open because farmers drove by with their tracktors until about 3 am

Hotel appears to be new and is well laid out near a business district. Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful and friendly. Wi-fi was super fast and very clean.
They had rest day on a Friday, so no restaurant and no one at the counter for in-person check-in. One person eventually showed up and helped us with check-in. Hallways echo, which was disturbing, as other guests came in at 03:00 a.m. and pretty much woke up everyone on the 1st floor. Rooms have only basic amenities. No refrigerator, no assistance handles in showers, only 4 hangers, but there was complementary water in the room. The bathroom's glass door opens up right into the toilet so hard to maneuver in the middle of the night. Should consider putting in sliding doors in the standard business rooms.

Liked everything, clean and crisp and very nice decor/fitout. Restaurant was fantastic, one of the best I’ve been to in a hotel.
Nothing of hi importance was a great stay, but found the bathroom door opening to tight against the sink (nowhere to stand in the bathroom when opening and closing the door) and reception should open at 6am for early checkout.

What can I say. Modern, fresh and good design. Best rooms and food for a long time and I’m all over Germany every week. Made such a pleasant change from the traditional hotels. I can thoroughly recommend Buchners.
