Great stay, no problems

The place was perfect! Close to the lake Pickleball was a hit. The pool was great.

We loved the location and for the most part the unit was great! It is a very unique layout, but overall we were very pleased with our stay!

The townhouse is stocked with everything you need, has excellent a/c, walking distance to downtown, and two swimming pools.
We were comfortable with a big group and were able to arrange a late checkout. I highly recommend and would stay here again.

Very pleased with cleanliness, spaciousness and cleanliness. Perfect for large families.

I want to give a higher rating for location, beach access across the street and roominess but unfortunately it was noticeably substandard in cleanliness. The rugs and upholstery are definitely overdue on a cleaning but the worst signs of the place needing a good cleaning were: finding dirty bath mats (with hair) in the bathrooms, an empty glass bottle wedged in the couch cushions, stained/dirty bedding on one of the bunk beds and lots and lots of dead bugs on the window sills. It definitely made it harder to relax feeling like it hadn’t been properly cleaned before our visit.

We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the private beach access. We loved the resort pool and hot tub and enjoyed the open grassy areas that were perfect for frisbee and other games. The rooms were very small and would be our only complaint but still worked. We had 12 guests so we filled it to the max. We would have appreciated some beach towels.

Family Friendly Bear Lake Stay
We loved our time here at Legacy. Nice furnishings and super comfy beds. Pool is across the street.

We had a poor experience
It’s was dirty. We paid a cleaning fee that was very high to not have it cleaned. The kitchen smells like hot dogs. There were a lot of burned out lights and we couldn’t get the fans to work.

Family vacation
We enjoyed our time at Bear Lake and the amenities at the resort. However, the condo was freezing cold and we could not get the temperature controls to warm the lower level. Whenever we were in the lower level we needed blankets to stay warm, and this was in August. The cold air constantly blew from the air vents. Also, the kitchen is not very well equipped so plan to bring some of your own kitchen cooking dishes. Kitchen is on the upper floor with a small seating area. However, the barbeque grill is on the ground floor and is accessed through the master bedroom - this is very inconvenient and odd. The shower in the lower level master bedroom is extremely small, but functional. The condo cleanliness needs to be better. The shower curtain needs to be cleaned, and the shower should be cleaned better between each reservation - we found hair in the shower when we used it the first time.

Fun weekend at Bear Lake
Had a great view of the lake and beach access, although it was across the street. Layout of the place was a bit strange. Lots of stairs. Didn’t have a coffee pot but the manager brought us a new one. Overall, we enjoyed it.

Legacy Beach Resort Bear Lake
Too many stairs to the kitchen. Not enough space in the kitchen for dry goods that we brought. No storage space. The loft was too dangerous to sleep in and there were so many bugs in the loft area. It was okay. Not suitable for a family of 10-12. I would rent another that had a different layout. It was clean and across the street from the beach, lake, pool areas.

Great location and plenty of room.
I would definitely rent again. My only complaint would be not enough dish towels and no beach towels.

Legacy house review
We will definitely be back to the property! Wonderful amenities. We didn’t love the layout of the condo we stayed in but not a lot we could do with that. Otherwise great place to stay, clean, and had everything we needed provided

Darling Clean Little Rental
This Rental was spotless. Such a great location, close enough we walked to town on the pathway, and right across from a great lake access. The hot tub was so large and in a beautiful location right on the lake. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner here, the kitchen was stocked with the basic cooking needs, great selection of pots and pans. The upstairs bedrooms are small. With a Queen bed in each there is not enough room to walk around the bed, so therefore you have to crawl over one side to get in bed, and difficult to get into the closets. Not convenient for older renters. We had some lack of communication about check in processes and amenity access but that was solved quickly that evening. The basement bedroom and Bonus room was GREAT- large and spacious and fun for movie nights, with smart TVs. It was cold weather while we were there and it took a bit to warm the basement up, but there was plenty of extra blankets. Would stay again!

Great stay with a beautiful view!
We loved staying here! The interior is beautifully updated with ample bed space for our family. It’s a quick walk to the water and a quick drive everywhere you want to go.

Weekend stay
property was overall nice. Could have been cleaned better than it was especially for us having to pay a cleaning fee. We would stay again

5-star rating!!
We had such a nice time and the property was everything and more! It was clean, spacious, and close to the lake. We took advantage of the boat launching and although it was quite the experience it was worth it and fun. Bear Lake does not disappoint. I can highly recommend staying at Legacy Beach Lodgings.

Okay for a last minute stay
Family of 12 enjoying the sites at Bear Lake.
Pros:
This property is in a great location, they have comfortable beds and nice TVs. The basement furniture is comfortable and seats a lot of people. The kitchen table, chairs and bar stools are in good condition and seat a big group. The covered balcony was a fun place to sit and read or watch the boats on the lake. The pool and hot tub were great and enjoyed by all. We liked the flooring and the no shoes in the condo rule. Parking is conveniently located next to the unit for easy loading and unloading.
Cons:
The cleaning service was not good. The towels stored under the bathroom sinks were still wet when we went to use them the next day. The floors had not been swept and the carpet by the loft bed and stairs leading to it had not been vacuumed (we found Cheetos on the floor). The door handles on the fridge and under the sink were sticky. The sliding glass doors had hand prints all over them. The windowsills were filled with bugs. Many of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. There wasn't enough toilet paper left in the bathrooms, we had to go buy more.
The WiFi is poor resulting in continued buffering.
The dryer took 2 hours to dry a load of towels. I'm wondering if the washer isn't spinning them enough or if the dryer is just not working well. We did find that the lint trap hadn't been cleaned out for a long time, it was really packed in there.
The garbage can is cute but inconvenient. It's a pain when there is stuff in your hands and you have to open the lid by hand to throw stuff away.
Upstairs couch is not comfortable. It is a futon and sits directly underneath the TV.
We had a fun time, but for the price we paid it should have been much cleaner than this. We won't be returning to this unit.

Great place! We loved it!
This is one of the best condos we have stayed at. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Plenty of room to spread out. We will definitely be coming here again.
