The cottage was lovely and the area was great for hiking. Sinda was attentive and kind, and our dogs were totally welcome. We would definitely stay here again!

I need to start the review by highlighting the lady that was receiving us, very friendly, regarding the place is a very traditional farm with few houses that were kept as much original as possible so it is a great experience for a proper stone regional house. The view to the city of Chaves is amazing
Lots os space to enjoy, playground, car park and that fresh bread from local bakery left on our door was top along with the rest of the breakfast products
Nothing specific but just to highlight that is around 15m to the city center by car

Amazing! Our family of 9 shared 4 apartments. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The setting was outstanding. Such a wonderful experience staying at Quinta Santa Isabel! The fresh bread in the morning was great. We can't wait to return in the future.
No complaints!

The quiet surroundings, the keeper which was so helpful.
The room was a small apartment with a small kitchen and living room.
The old fashion fireplace was remarkable burning big oak logs.
If you arrive late night don't get scared, the sun in the morning will enlighten
I guess that you cannot ask for too much giving what we have been charged.
Mid trip between Chaves and Spain, loved the surroundings.
Chaves is a quiet town with big SPA facilities (closed in winter and spring)
Don't loose Trajano's Bridge and old buildings in the city's downtown, built in the first century AD
An ancient noble house and its servants houses in the surroundings were rebuilt too long ago.
There's some lack of investment.
You don't have a place to cool in summer, no pool but this is a Rural resort...
Walk carefully you might step the wrong stone in the pedestrian paths outside.
Double doors and in an ancient houses but comfort would improve with heat leaking reduced (I guess in summer these will be useful to keep the houses cooler)

We enjoyed our stay at this house full of history. Our apartment was big and cozy. It was very quiet, the view from our balcony was amazing. There was a BBQ place, we used it both nights. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

The location was good. A nice village with pleasant walks and historical interest.
The place seemed a little "tired" No light over the cooker, handles missing from the cupboards, windows hard to open, couldn't connect to the internet.

It was quaint and full of charm. Nice garden, nice lady staffer, fresh bread at the door each morning, great international TV, great internet, wonderful for our dog who made friends with Negrita, the resident sweet dog. Everything was clean, beds were comfy. I live it that they welcomed our dog
They need to add a frying pan in the kitchen. Nothing else we didn’t like.. it was all super nice..

Everything! Should be great for couples with kids or even for a bachelor's weekend party. We brought our senior dogs and they enjoyed exploring the courtyard.
My wife says that the matress was too soft. It was perfect for me! Our charming room had wooden stairs that are bit creaky. No problem if you're not getting up before your partner :)

The cottage was great and the the place as a hole was brilliant. Stunning countryside, out in the middle of nowhere but also close to town. The hosts were very helpful and we had everything we needed. Just go there to find out for yourself.

Isabel was very helpful and she made all that we could enjoy our stay to the fullest!
