I’ve stayed at the Ned Kelly Motel before. This was the reason for staying again.

Interruptive sleep, friendly staff

Smoke alarm went off at 2am, random person tried to break in at 5:30am, construction was going on next door at 7am. Constant random banging noises all night. Floor wet in the morning? Off putting.

We just needed somewhere to shower and sleep and that’s what we got.

The linen was clean

Floors were filthy, beds were very uncomfortable and the highway was noisy.

Ok, but not good

Location good and no problems with parking.

Absolutely no kitchen provisions. No plates, cutlery etc. Not even a bench to prepare your own food as only one small table provided which we used for our laptop.

It will do for an overnight stay.

It had a jug for coffee and a fridge to store a snack.

Poor lighting in the room so I couldn’t read a book at night. Had to run the shower a long time before we got warm water. Big gap under the room door and watched a huge cockroach run under our bed. Lots of road noise. Pay extra for clean towels.

Good position for what we wanted to do. Nothing special stood out.

Noisy traffic. Could hear next door guests. Terrible access to the room from the parking position, two lots of steps and a long walk, not ideal for older people. Very small tv and too high on the wall. Mould on the shower screen. Mattress protector dirty. No cutlery and crockery,except two cups, two glasses and one spoon. We were given some eating utensils after asking for them. Bathroom door latch didn’t work, couldn’t close it. No sofa, two uncomfortable chairs. Seems like the room renovations not yet completed. Internet didn’t work in this room as too far from source.

Easy to locate. Spacious enough for a cot in the room as well

Shower screen looked to be extremely dirty. Couldn’t work out the tv to put shows on for kids. lack of parking making it difficult with little ones.

Looked to be water damage just outside of the bathroom, but might have been ants. Also a leak of some sort that gets under the Lino timber outside the bathroom. Cant close shower door without first opening the main bathroom door. Lacking in noise reduction through proper windows and well sealing main door

We did not go for breakfast as we were informed too late.

The WI-FI was very slow in our location and I needed to get closer to the office to get it.

It was easy to find , on the way into Maryborough from the Bruce Highway. The room was clean , bed comfortable ☺️

The only problem we had was often , not always, having connections for the wifi.
