The staff were not helpful. Our room required two flights of stairs, which wasn’t mentioned when we booked, and no one helped with our luggage, even though we have three kids.

Nice and quiet, good sleep. Big rooms. Parking, Bergbahn and spa included, which made the price very attractive.
Cigarette smoke coming in, if balcony open.

The breakfast was good. The price included free access to the Alpentherme throughout our stay which was excellent.
We paid for half board but the dinners were bland and limited. The decor was dated and looked like it could do with a revamp.

Clean, warm and good size room. Alpine centrum entry is included everyday in the hotel price and it is max 10min walk. Glass of prosecco on arrival was a nice touch. Very good buffet breakfast and good choice of meat/fish and vegetarian buffet dinner. We rented e-bikes from the hotel -good bikes and very convenient. Good wifi. You can pick up hiking maps and information from the receiption. staff were very nice and helpful. We had a great time and we would always come back if in the area.

Very well located hotel in the walking distance to the Alpentherme. Your whole staying you have free entrance due to the Gasteiner Card to the therme. The hotel is rather old, but they try to do their best to give it a modern touch. The beds are very comfy, the bathrooms renovated.
We were here in between the saisons, so the guests were rather a bit old :)

Free underground parking, spacious rooms and views, comfortable double bed, welcome drinks and buffet breakfast, Alpentherme Spa available on the day of check-in and check-out
The sofa bed used by the child was uncomfortable. It would be nice to have a family room with a single bed.

Nice view on the mountains, amazing breakfast Buffet.

The facility is a bit older, however, it gives the building its own charm :)
Breakfasts and dinners were very good. Also, the hotel has its own sauna area, which we found even better than the Alpenthermal :)

Spacious room, was cleaned every day. Towels, slippers and bath robes for the Alpentherme provided by the hotel. Sweet and savoy breakfast options. Complementary glass of prosecco at check in was a nice touch. Good value for the money.

We booked half board and loved our stay and dinner at the hotel. e we were also proved a bergbhan card and Alpentherme card which were very useful.

A spacious room, rich breakfast, very close to all facilities and Alpenthermen. Very nice staff. A garage with easy access to the rooms.
There should be more power sockets available in the room.

location and the view
The apartment was very dirty, the kettle was
filled with sand. The carpet was dusty. Does
not suit families, because it has 3 bedrooms,
but only 1 bathroom. Insects infested the
whole place. Extremely uncomfortable beds.
There was no help with carrying the bags to
the first floor because there is no lift to the
apartment , although we were coming from
abroad with heavy luggage.

Breakfast was ok
The room was spacious
Free parking
The hotel is OLD! Everything seems to be from the 60s.
Check-in took 20 minutes and the lady was a bit rude and annoyed (probably because we didn't speak German, she was all smiles with the guest checking in before us).
We didn't get any shower gel in the bathroom, only a soap that made your skin crawl.
After 22:00 there is no one in the hotel, you can't even get some water. We even found the front door locked when we came back from dinner.
The water they left in the room was in a reusable glass bottle so we were a bit unsure of its origins :) We resorted to drinking the water from the bathroom sink which was decent.
The pillows were really uncomfortable and worn out, should really be replaced.
At breakfast, you get a designated table, you don't sit where you wish but there was no one to inform us, just a very annoyed gentleman snapping at us with a "not there" when we sat down.
We were told that we can use the facilities of Alpentherme and the reception lady told us that towels would be provided there. She failed to mention we would need to pay for them, 5 euros each.
One of the advertised benefits "included" in the room rate is the use of the cable cart but they again failed to mention you can only use it on the day you check in (meaning after 15:00) and the cable cart is open until 17. You can't use it the next day, of course.

The hotel is located in a nice village with thermal bad, entrance fee as well as funicular fee were included in the accommodation price. We really loved the area - the thermal bad is awesome and the whole valley with other villages is beautiful, great for hiking, there are fantastic mountin views. We would like to come back in winter :)
The images at the booking.com web page are confusing - e.g. the swimming pool is not in the hotel, but in the thermal bad, which is at about 10mins walking distance from the hotel (despite included in the price of the accommodation). We´ve had half pension prepaid and the meal, especially the breakfast, was very monotonous. Dinner was much better but the drinks, neither non-alcoholic, were not included in the half pension price.
