Comfortable room and clean
Wifi was really bad, couldn't reach the room at all, and there was nobody at the desk for a long time both when I was checking in and when checking out.

It was great to get an air conditioned room for the price, fresh towels everyday and the hostel was clean. They allowed us to store some food in their fridge for our own breakfasts
The 'closet' in the room was only a clothes rail without enough hangers. There was an odd smell in the bathroom sometimes. Not many nice restaurants or bars nearby.

A good budget hotel. Small but comfortable room with aircon. Receptionist spoke some English. 10 mins walk from port. On wrong side of town for tourist area but nothing is far to walk.

It was very forthcoming and friendly from them to serve an earlier breakfast before 7:00 just for us, so that we could reach the bus at 7:15 for the airport. Unfortunately the bus stop to the airport is 800m away whereas the bus stop from the airport is just around the building. WiFi was the best from all hotels and Cafés we have been to in 2 weeks and this was our last hotel.
The rooms looked a bit old and run down, although they were clean. The problem is that the design and craftsman's skills had been very limited when the initially made the bathroom and rooms. We had 4 nights at another hotel which was the same price but more central and looking a bit nicer. Shower was perfectly working, so that was a plus. Water source seemed to be different than at the port though.

There was bottled water in the reception as you can't drink the tap, it was quiet and safe.
Windows didn't open in our room, bed was uncomfortable and the lights were like hospital lights which isn't too inviting.

It's pretty good for the price.. might be smaller than pictured tho.. but no complains.... close to everything and the staff was super friendly

very friendly and personable service especially during break fast times! Excellent healthy hot breakfast! Daily room service and a front desk for any questions! well secured all times. Easy to get to bus stop, main street with tons of restaurants and grocery stores and bike rental and tour operators.
room is functional but has an unfinished flavor. Needs installing flat screen TV and a few other repairs.

Breakfast was simple, but included. There was toast and something hot each morning, along with juice and coffee. There was a water jug where we could refill our water bottles with cold water, as much as needed. A staff member went to a pharmacy around the corner with me to help me get some medicine to put on my bug bites! So nice! The room was small and basic, but the beds were comfortable. My kids enjoyed the small pool after our hot days. Housekeeping was great and helped us once when we somehow locked ourselves out of the bathroom. Air conditioning worked well. The location was within easy walking distance to the port, shops, and restaurants, but taxis were only $1.50, when we were too hot to walk.
I did have to hang our towels on the windows to keep the sun/light out because we only had a super sheer curtain, but it looked like other rooms had blackout curtains.
